Kurashiki Yuga Onsen Hotel Santoka, a Ryokan filled with nature and tranquility, is located 30 minutes from Kurashiki and 10 minutes from Mizushima I.C. Enjoy the seasonal blossoms, birdsong, the leisurely flow of time, and the Onsen.
[Awarded Michelin Keys for three consecutive years: 2024, 2025, and 2026] Naoshima Ryokan “Roka” will open in a prime location just a 5-minute walk from Honmura, the heart of Naoshima. This authentic Ryokan features all-suite guest rooms, each with an open-air bath. The Setouchi Triennale is held once every three years across 12 islands in the Seto Inland Sea and around three ports on Honshu and Shikoku. *The next festival will be in 2028. The Setouchi Triennale is Japan’s largest contemporary art event, bringing together works from around the world. It is also highly popular internationally, attracting art fans to Naoshima from across the globe during the festival period.* Even outside the festival dates, Naoshima offers many permanent artworks and museums to enjoy year-round. We invite you to use our property as your base for exploring Naoshima and the Setouchi area.
A private, whole-house Accommodation created by fully renovating a Showa-era home at Uno Port—the gateway to Okayama Prefecture—where ferries come and go to the Setouchi islands where everyday life and art intertwine, such as Naoshima and Teshima. What you’ll find here is a way of spending time that extends naturally from life in a seaside town: time to receive shifting light and passing breezes with your whole body, like a vessel. Interpreting Setouchi and Uno in our own way, we have composed an introspective space through custom-built furniture, antiques, music, and books. This is an in-town retreat—not for showing off to others, but for reconsidering your connection with yourself and the place, and for letting sensory, poetic feelings quietly mature. In other words, this is not a luxury Facility: there are no lavish meals or staffed services. There is no TV in the Room. And because we have preserved the structure of a Showa-era house, it may be somewhat less comfortable or insulated than modern homes. There is no breathtaking ocean view.We would be glad if you choose this place as somewhere to spend cradle-like hours—soaking in the afterglow of your journey, or resting right in its midst.
An Accommodation with panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea and the Seto Ohashi Bridge, offering spacious rooms—all with ocean views. On the rooftop, enjoy an open-air bath in the sky while taking in breathtaking scenery; the Honey Pearl Bath is a one-of-a-kind experience available only here. Seasonal dishes made with Setouchi ingredients are served buffet-style, and the beautifully portioned presentations on the buffet counter make dining a feast for both the eyes and the palate. From April 2025, we will be all-inclusive, so you can enjoy alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, light snacks, and activities without worrying about your budget.
20 minutes by car from JR Kojima Station, this prime location offers a stunning Seto Inland Sea beach right in front. The accommodations range from Japanese, Western, and Japanese-Western style rooms to family rooms, suites, and a Toy Kingdom-themed room. Just a few minutes' drive to the popular "Toy Kingdom" for children, and convenient access to Naoshima, known as an art island. In summer, enjoy swimming at Shibukawa Beach right in front.
A complex Property located in Kojima, the town of jeans, featuring denim, accommodation, sauna, and a restaurant. Spend a relaxing time with your family or partner, or take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life to enjoy a peaceful moment alone. Gaze at the islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea, think of someone special, and let your heart be lifted by extraordinary experiences. With the concept of "floating," we named it "DENIM HOSTEL float." In the Japanese-style Room, denim materials are used for the wallpaper, tatami edges, sofa, floor chairs, and sliding doors. Enjoy your stay in a Room surrounded by the blue of the sea and the indigo of denim. In the glamping dome surrounded by the lush greenery of the Seto Inland Sea National Park, you can experience a stay that lets you feel the changing seasons. In the trailer house, which feels as if it is floating on the sea, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea through large, frame-like windows. At the restaurant "pile," we serve lasagna made with 100% Okayama-grown wheat homemade noodles, fully utilizing local ingredients. On weekends, we also offer casual course meals featuring ingredients from the Seto Inland region. At the "ITONAMI" shop, in addition to selling brand products, guests staying with us can rent one denim item during their stay. The outdoor sauna "Floating Sauna" is also available. In the Estonian-made barrel sauna, you can enjoy seasonal aromatic löyly, a cold bath with a Shigaraki ware tub, and rental items including "nylon denim swimwear" specially designed by "ITONAMI" for sauna use. We invite you to experience a unique and local stay that can only be found in this area.
