Around Sakura Falls × Nature Experience AccommodationRecommended Hotel·Ryokan

Sansou Tenzui is nestled in a quiet setting slightly away from the center of Amagase Onsen. Facing the Gōraku River and overlooking Sakuradaki Falls, the property sits on expansive grounds gently embraced by lush greenery. As your private retreat far from the bustle, we promise refined relaxation amid the rich natural beauty of every season.

Oyama, the inner retreat of Tenryo Hita, is a scenic area blessed with the Hibiki Gorge and plum blossoms. We named this place “Okuhita Onsen” and our Ryokan “Umehibiki.”In this land where plums have been lovingly cultivated for generations, we cherish the plum blossoms and use the fruit to make umeshu (plum liqueur) and umeboshi (pickled plums). With a focus on wholesome, beautiful cuisine and spaces, we strive to be a Ryokan worthy of being called an “Onsen devoted to plums.”Like the dignified yet charming plum blossom, we stand tall as we welcome you.

Shin-Ajisai, located on a hilltop, is a nature-rich property offering panoramic views of Amagase. All rooms feature river views, and the interior design is inspired by hydrangeas. Some rooms come with open-air baths, and there are 8 Onsen facilities across 4 locations. Notably, "Tenko no Yu" is an open-air bath situated at the highest point with breathtaking views, while "Takimi no Yu" offers the experience of soaking in an Onsen accompanied by the roaring sound of a waterfall. Guests can enjoy Japanese cuisine that highlights local seasonal ingredients and flavors. The property also features private dining rooms, banquet halls, and conference rooms for various occasions. Savor seasonal dishes and fresh tastes throughout the year!
