Approximately 45 minutes by high-speed ferry from "Ishigaki Port" on Ishigaki Island to "Ohara Port" on Iriomote Island. From Ohara Port, it takes about 30 minutes to the Hotel by rental car or local bus! Enjoy a relaxing stay at a Hotel located on Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site! It has been 24 years since we opened Sapuna House this year (2025). The old building, which had a small pool, was let go 10 years ago and has become another small island Stays. The current building (new building) opened in 2008 and has only two rooms: a standard and a suite. We believe that travel is about returning home safely with many enjoyable memories. Taketomi Island, where "Island Property Ganjyuya" is located, is often visited as a day trip destination, but staying overnight reveals its true charm! From sunset to nighttime, and even early morning strolls, why not experience the relaxed flow of "island life"? "Island Property Ganjyuya" is an exclusive accommodation with only two cottages on the premises, limited to two groups. The Okinawan-style red-tiled Property buildings are perfect for families or large groups, with one accommodating up to 4 guests and the other up to 6 guests. Inside, you'll find a Ryukyu tatami living Room, a bedroom, a sofa Room (only in Fuya), a bath and toilet, as well as a private garden with a table and chairs. All are designed with a modern Japanese aesthetic, ensuring a comfortable stay. The Property is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, and dryer. One highlight not to be missed is the stone-built open-air bath in the garden! The 6-person cottage (Fuya) features a round open-air bath, while the 4-person cottage (Tora) has a square one, allowing guests to enjoy a "star-viewing bath" no matter which Room they choose. Additionally, bicycles are available for guests to use free of charge. *Child seats and children's bicycles are also available. Furthermore, from the adjacent "Parlor Ganjyuya," you can order takeout, which will be delivered directly to your Room. The signature parfaits feature Blue Seal ice cream, with options like the "Tropical Parfait" packed with fresh mango, or the "Okinawan Sundae" offering unique local flavors such as ube, beni-imo, and salted chinsuko. These are especially popular. Other offerings include shaved ice, drinks, smoothies, and Orion draft beer. The greatest appeal of staying on Taketomi Island is experiencing the atmosphere and ambiance of the village and sea after the day-trippers have left. In the evening, you can enjoy the beach almost entirely to yourself. Witness the dramatic sunset as the fiery red sun sinks into the sea, or take a serene morning walk along the sandy paths swept with bamboo brooms in the tranquil village at sunrise.
