This Hotel is located on the site of the former Shirakawa Elementary School in Kyoto, which closed in 2011 and has over 100 years of academic history since its establishment as an elementary school. The building, constructed during the mid-Meiji and Taisho periods, features the Gion townhouse style, preserving the traditional charm of old Japan.
