"Flower" is described in the "Kaden-sho" as the essence of art that evokes emotion in the viewer and makes them want to return. When people encounter something unexpected, they are surprised and moved. Even if the appearance is modest, the subtle and thoughtful effort to inspire emotion in others is considered the true essence of "hidden beauty is the flower."Our Property embraces a part of the teachings from the "Kaden-sho" as our philosophy of hospitality and way of being. With this in mind, we have named our establishment "Kyoto Arashiyama Onsen Kaden-sho." We strive daily to provide our guests with moments of joy and inspiration.
The facility features Kitayama round timber throughout, accompanied by the sounds of the koto and the fragrance of incense, creating a Kyoto ambiance. Each staff member provides hospitality with the feeling of welcoming a valued guest into their own home.
The hotel, offering complimentary access to the Onsen "Kyoto Take no Sato Onsen," is conveniently located near Jūrin-ji, Kōmyō-ji, and Zenmyō-ji, and features a bowling alley. Two types of hot spring sources from the premises are channeled into nine different baths, providing a diverse bathing experience. We offer various room types to suit different needs, including rooms with open-air baths, Western-style twin rooms, and Japanese-style rooms for large groups.
Welcome and thank you for visiting. Hospitality with a touch of "difference in taste." Arashiyama Onsen Saishiki no Yado "Hanaikada" is located at the southern end of Togetsukyo Bridge. Nestled at the foot of Arashiyama, where you can hear the gentle murmuring of the Oigawa River, our Property offers not only a tranquil and relaxing stay but is also highly praised as a culinary Ryokan where you can savor traditional Kyoto cuisine. From exquisite kaiseki dishes showcasing traditional techniques to tofu specialties unique to Arashiyama and casual bento boxes, we present a variety of seasonal delights. Please feel free to enjoy a moment of delicious relaxation at Arashiyama Onsen Saishiki no Yado "Hanaikada."
The annex "Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto," overlooking the pristine flow of the Hozugawa River and the timeless ridgelines, offers a front-row seat to Japan's seasonal beauty: cherry blossoms in full bloom in spring, lush greenery and clear streams in summer, vibrant autumn foliage in fall, and a snowy white landscape in winter. The essence of the Hotel's presence and hospitality is "Keio-Kai-Rai," a harmonious blend of Kyoto's enduring traditions and modern aesthetics, warmly welcoming guests from around the world to this historic land. Among the 39 modern guest rooms adorned with touches of Japan's traditional beauty, 17 feature open-air baths with natural Onsen. Within the Hotel, guests can enjoy the restaurant "Kyo Suiran," housed in a historic building from the Meiji era, the café "Saryo Hassui" offering panoramic views of Arashiyama, banquet halls, a private spa, and a Japanese garden that combines traditional elegance with contemporary elements. Together with the natural beauty and seasonal landscapes of Arashiyama, we provide an unparalleled experience that cannot be found elsewhere.
