Hida-Furukawa, known as “Takayama’s inner retreat,” is a charming town lined with traditional townhouses, white-walled storehouses, and the Setogawa River where carp swim. We have been operating this Accommodation for over 180 years. Our Meiji-era building, showcasing the craftsmanship of Hida artisans, is designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. Our 18 guest rooms are spread across three buildings: Shogetsuro (a merchant-style building built in 1905), Kogetsuro (a sukiya-style building built in the early Showa period), and Kangetsuro (built in the Heisei era) overlooking Honkoji Temple and the Araki River. Each offers its own distinct atmosphere. Enjoy a sense of closeness between people unlike in the city, and take time to reconnect with yourself.

"IORI STAY" is a small luxury townhouse accommodation brand with six unique accommodations located throughout Hida City. All accommodations are conveniently situated within a 5-minute walk from the station and in the heart of the sightseeing area. Hida City is just 15 minutes by train or 30 minutes by car from Takayama, offering a distinct charm that is beautiful, very local, and perfect for those who wish to enjoy a relaxing stay. Breakfast made with local ingredients will be delivered to your accommodation. For dinner, you can enjoy Hida beef sukiyaki or traditional dishes like hōba-yaki at your accommodation, or explore local izakayas to savor regional cuisine. Enjoy cycling, hiking, or an evening stroll along Setogawa River for a truly special stay.

A spacious 200㎡ building and a vast 1000㎡ property exclusively reserved for one group—enjoy the entire space to yourselves! Surrounded by nature in a quiet environment. On the property, you can have a BBQ, set up tents for camping, or even enjoy auto camping. This private space allows for outdoor BBQs and camping. A complete BBQ set, including charcoal, is provided free of charge. Perfect for groups or families to enjoy together. *Please note that this Plan does not include food ingredients.
