This was our first trip to Okinawa as a family vacation. Although we decided to go ahead with the trip with a typhoon approaching, the services at this Hotel were excellent and truly helpful. Even on days when the weather was severe, we were able to spend meaningful time together with our daughter in the indoor pool and Onsen. In addition, you showed us thoughtful kindness in many ways for our daughter’s birthday, and as parents who chose this Hotel, we felt very proud. At breakfast, we enjoyed both Japanese and Western options from the buffet; in particular, the Japanese dishes offered daily rotating menus for guests on a Multiple Night Stay, which was very satisfying. I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my sincere gratitude to everyone at this Hotel for your kindness.

This was my third stay. When choosing both the sea and a comfortable Hotel on Okinawa’s main island, I always end up wanting to stay here. For me, Moon Beach in Onna Village is the most beautiful, and this Hotel has a charm that enhances the beach’s appeal. The well-maintained greenery that blends into the beach and the low-rise design that makes great use of the pool Facility create a calm atmosphere that feels like being in another world. I can also sense the unseen efforts and thoughtfulness of the staff, who respond so gently, and I have never once felt uncomfortable here. The Room, pool, and lounge are all clean, you can feel the breeze, and it’s so comfortable that I want to stay for hours. Meals are breakfast buffet only, but there is a wide variety. I stayed three nights; I don’t think the menu changed much, but there were enough options that I didn’t get bored. Even in April it was around 28°C, so we could swim in the sea. Near one end of the beach there are fish swimming around, which you can enjoy watching with goggles. Also, I hope you’ll visit Yo Island managed by this Hotel at least once—there is a guide included and you can snorkel comfortably and have a great time. At night, because of its convenient location, restaurants are just a short walk away—and even after drinking you can walk back easily, which is another plus. One thing: I wish the laundry area had fewer broken machines/parts and felt a bit cleaner. Keeping all of what makes this Hotel special—I know it must be hard work for everyone on staff—I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I love Okinawa and have stayed at many Hotels, and this was a truly wonderful Hotel. Since it has only just opened, I felt a bit uneasy after seeing some low-rated Reviews, but my stay was so good that I wanted to share my thoughts. Good points ◯The food is simply delicious. I had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was excellent. Dinner was a half-buffet and breakfast was a buffet; both offered a wide variety of dishes including Okinawan cuisine. The flavors were great across the board—honestly, it was so good that you might be more satisfied eating “Okinawan food” at the Hotel than going out to restaurants. The fish main dish I had at dinner was especially outstanding. ◯Beautiful Facilities As it’s newly opened, everything is spotless. The interior design is tasteful, and the overall atmosphere is extremely comfortable. ◯Large public bath and sauna In addition to the large public bath, there is also a small sauna. I used them many times and felt very refreshed. ◯Indoor pool and outdoor pool available It’s not a large-scale Hotel, so the pools aren’t huge, but you can see the ocean from the outdoor pool, which was lovely. As mentioned above, because it isn’t a big Hotel, it’s designed as a relaxing space where you can truly take your time—and I found it very comfortable. It isn’t an oceanfront Accommodation, but the greenery visible from the breakfast venue is beautiful and very soothing. All staff members were pleasant—not only at the front desk and restaurant, but also the international housekeeping staff. One thing to note: although this Hotel is on the west coast, you probably can’t see the sunset from your Room, so sunset lovers may want to keep that in mind. Surrounded by nature, it was a very quiet and pleasant place. However, as there are no shops nearby, we recommend doing your shopping in advance.

We stayed for one night with breakfast included, accommodating four people. The room was an ocean-view room. Stepping out onto the spacious balcony, we were greeted by a stunning ocean view. The scenery was beautiful. Inside the room, there were two beds and two futons laid out on a tatami space. The room was spacious enough for four people to stay comfortably. Both the room lights and bathroom lights had dimming functions, which are rare in accommodations, allowing us to adjust brightness as needed—this made it feel like home. It’s a great hotel for an extended stay. Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options; while not extensive in variety, there were plenty of well-balanced dishes to choose from, all of which were delicious. Although there didn’t seem to be any izakaya-style restaurants nearby, it was nice that some izakayas offered shuttle service to and from the hotel. The price of the hotel is also reasonable. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity!

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the otherworldly atmosphere and the ideal scenery. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and it became a special Accommodation that our whole family was truly satisfied with and wants to visit every year.

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

The Room was spotless and very comfortable. I was especially impressed that even the toys provided were kept clean; my two-year-old son played with them nonstop. Thoughtful amenities for families with small children—such as a baby gate, high chair, and a step stool in the bathroom—made our stay feel safe and stress-free. We’d love to stay again.

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. The toilet and bath were separate, there was a steak restaurant next door, and a convenience store across the street. Behind the Accommodation, there was a fishing port and a small park, and we were pleasantly surprised to find earplugs among the amenities. The elevator “Open” button didn’t work well, so we had to stop it with our foot. There was a step between the Room and the (spacious) bath area, but they kindly stacked mats as a temporary fix, which really helped. The faucet at the sink in the bath area was stiff. There was no washing machine. There were some drawbacks, but everyone was very kind to us.

We had a wonderful auberge experience exactly as we’d imagined, and we were very satisfied. Thoughts on the triple Room (not mentioned in other Review): - The tabletop mirror prepared on the desk—also useful as an accessory tray—was extremely convenient for the three of us traveling together to get ready. - The toilet floor was tiled with a drain, and it felt exceptionally clean. - The loungewear wasn’t overly softened with fabric softener and felt smooth and comfortable. I think even those who dislike fragrances could wear it. - We stayed in February, and the sheets were pleasantly soft and slightly moist to the touch. Perhaps thanks to the mattress pad, nothing shifted at all, so we didn’t need to readjust the bedding until morning. Among Resort Hotels on Okinawa’s main island, Business Hotels, and long-established sightseeing hotels back home (in another prefecture) that we’ve used in recent years, this was our favorite. Ryukyu Ganebu wine and the cuisine, a charming Room, and warm hospitality—it was a truly lovely experience that felt like being shown one by one the treasures gained through all the challenges and adventures the owner couple have accomplished so far. I’m glad we chose “Tears” as our first wine toast with our daughters who have only recently become adults. It has become a precious wine tied to special memories, and we’re really looking forward to returning someday to toast here again. Thank you for kindly accommodating our last-minute Reservation just two days in advance! The kids had an amazing time. We’ve stayed at several pool villas, and this was the best by far. We’d definitely love to stay again.

If you’re not good with bugs, I think a Hotel might be better, but I highly recommend this place for group trips! You can also have a BBQ, and it’s spacious and feels very open! There’s also a dryer, so we could wear our clothes again the next day and pack lighter! Personally, I thought it was great!

I had some business nearby and only returned to sleep without meals, but I stayed for two nights. The bedroom had a calming wooden feel, and it was nice to feel like returning to an apartment. The surroundings were quiet and not bothersome, allowing for a good night's sleep. The Room and bathroom were clean, providing peace of mind during use. The amenities were simple, but coffee was available, and everything necessary was well-provided. It was my first time in Okinawa, but thanks to this Hotel, I had a great time. Thank you!

This time, six adults stayed at the accommodation. After booking, I learned that due to the plan, we couldn't expect a sea view from the room, and I had resigned myself to that fact. However, we could actually see the sea from the balcony! The layout of the room was very spacious, and it was clean, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. The website didn't mention laundry detergent, so I brought some just in case, but there was liquid detergent provided.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

Over the New Year holiday, my parents-in-law and we as a couple traveled all the way to Okinawa and stayed for 2 nights as a group of four. The check-in and check-out terminal操作 was smooth. During our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. We bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked in the Room kitchen, and there were more than enough cooking utensils and tableware—nothing to complain about. My parents-in-law were also very happy, so I’m glad we chose this place to stay. We’d love to stay here again when we have the chance.

It was my first time staying in the Onna Village area. Since I was traveling with children, I looked for a place where we could relax and be close to the sea. The staff were warm and welcoming, and having the sea nearby made it a perfect location! The gas-powered washer-dryer was also incredibly convenient! This time, we opted out of breakfast, but it looked delicious, so I might include it next time... The kids were very satisfied! They were already talking about wanting to stay here again next year, so I definitely want to come back too.
