At a traditional Japanese Ryokan with over 100 years of history, you can experience heartfelt hospitality. All rooms offer views of a Japanese garden, and you can enjoy local cuisine featuring seasonal flavors from Yamagata. Additionally, at Tendo Onsen, the only open-air bath without a roof allows you to savor the charm of each season. The large bath 'Sato no Yu' is gentle on the skin and popular as a warming bath. Professional massage services are also available.

The "Sakaeya Hotel," known for its high-quality natural hot springs, features a variety of bathing facilities such as the large communal baths "Tono-yu" and "Hime-yu," the celestial baths "Orihime & Kengyu," Ondol-style stone saunas, and mugwort steam baths. Guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in Western-style rooms equipped with two Simmons semi-double beds, Japanese-style rooms with panoramic views of the Tendo cityscape, or special rooms featuring semi-open-air baths and relaxation spaces. All-inclusive Hotel “Anda no Mori,” packed with free Facilities for guests of all ages to enjoy all day, is now grand open in Tendo City, Yamagata! With 91 guest rooms, all in-house Facilities and play areas are included at no extra charge. Check-in starts at 12:00, so you can enjoy a full 26-hour stay for one night. Unlimited soft drinks and alcohol are included, along with kids’ play areas, karaoke, private baths, saunas, and more—all free of charge.
