It was our first trip to Okinawa in a while. In the past, we traveled with our children and visited many places, so we didn’t spend much time at the Hotel. Now that we are both in our 60s, we enjoyed a relaxing Multiple Night Stay for two nights. Because it is a remote island a little far from Naha, we could truly feel the authentic, non-touristy Okinawa. Not only was the food wonderful, but being warmly chatted with by the staff was the greatest “reward” of all. We became fans of Kouri Island and One Suite. We would love to visit again.

This Hotel impressed us in every way—hospitality, Facility, everything. At check-in, a staff member even came out to the parking lot to greet us. While enjoying a welcome drink, we received a thorough explanation of the property. The kids were beyond excited about how spacious and spotless the Room was, and about the view. There were thoughtful loan items such as card games, so not only the children but also we parents had a great time. We were also happy to find ReFa straightening and curling irons and a SHARP drum washer-dryer permanently installed, with detergent provided as well. The cleaning was impeccable down to every corner—truly impressive! (We stayed at another luxury Hotel the night before and noticed uncleaned areas and even flies, but here there was nothing like that—everything was beautiful.) At night, we relaxed by floating in the pool while gazing at the stars. And then breakfast—again, amazing: tender Wagyu steak in the morning and carefully prepared dishes using local ingredients. We had mentioned it was an anniversary trip, and they even prepared a cake and drinks for us. Every staff member was polite and warm; our 6-year-old son says it’s “the best Hotel ever.” I didn’t know Kouri Island could be such a wonderful place. We would absolutely love to stay again—with this Hotel as our main reason for coming back.

Our stay coincided with Typhoon No. 9. Normally, dinner requires a Reservation, but since going out or ordering delivery was difficult, they kindly provided a special Okinawa soba dinner for us. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the sauna, pool, or the starry sky we had been looking forward to, but thanks to the friendly staff, all-you-can-drink beverages and snacks, and the jacuzzi, we had a very satisfying stay.

I stayed here for my second night on a solo trip. Tucked away down a small path, it was so quiet—no traffic noise, just birds and insects. There were even cute little frogs on the terrace, which felt wonderful for someone who loves wildlife. The grounds are beautifully planted with lots of greenery, and the Room was extremely clean. The meals used ingredients harvested on the property and were outstanding—carefully prepared and delicate, yet warmly home-style at the same time. After the delicious dinner, they prepared a beautiful open-air bath for me, and I slept like a log until right before breakfast time. The owner couple were also very kind, sharing details about the ingredients, the plants on the property, and recommended spots to visit. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation filled with their care in every aspect—from the Room to the food to all Facilities. It’s an Accommodation I’ll definitely want to return to. Thank you very much.

A truly wonderful Facility! The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. There was a pool right in front of the Room, and we could also see the Kouri Bridge—an absolutely stunning view! We’d love to stay again!

Thanks to the warm smiles and hospitality of the staff, we were able to relax from the moment we arrived. We were impressed by how efficiently our meals were prepared. It was far, far better than in-room dining at a Hotel. The shabu-shabu and the morning sandwiches were outstanding. In a wonderful Room with views of Okinawa’s nature and the sea, our family was able to spend an amazing time together. Soaking in the bath at a leisurely pace while taking in the ocean, greenery, and birdsong left a lasting impression on us. We had been told there might be insects, but perhaps due to the strong wind and temperatures, we hardly saw any during our stay. If we have another chance, we would love to visit again. The Room was clean, and we had a great time!

It’s not luxurious like a Resort Hotel, but it has everything you need (the towels were wonderfully fluffy!), and the Room was kept very clean. The shared kitchen has a filtered-water tap, plus a refrigerator, dishes, cookware, and basic seasonings. I also appreciated the free coffee machine and several kinds of tea. If requested, they will prepare a complimentary breakfast of toast, a boiled egg, and yogurt. The washing machine is free to use (the dryer is paid), and there is also space for drying laundry as well as clothespins for drying underwear indoors. If you ask in advance, they also provide a Shuttle Service to the nearest bus stop before 10:00 AM (check-out) and after 3:00 PM (check-in). It was the perfect Accommodation for a relaxed, flexible stay while keeping costs down!

The parking lot in front of the Hotel was already full, so we were guided to a parking lot along the main road. It was very helpful that a staff member was there on site even in the heat. Although it was busy, the front desk staff were courteous, and the clean Room, plus free use of the washing machine and dryer, were very convenient. We also appreciated the complimentary water. There are restaurants and a drugstore within walking distance, making it a convenient location. Thank you!

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights). The Room was spacious and extremely comfortable. There were plates, cups, and a full set of cutlery, plus a frying pan, so I bought ingredients and prepared foods at a supermarket in Nago City for dinner. I had a packed schedule with marine sports and more, but it was so comfortable that I wish I’d made more time to relax at the Hotel. Sunrise spots, sunset spots, and Heart Rock are just a few minutes away by car. The Eisa performance was amazing as well—thank you!

If you head toward the windmill landmark, you’ll find the Hotel right below it, so it’s easy to locate. From the Room, with Kouri Island in a diagonal view, the sea is just a few meters away. Dinner was decent. Breakfast was Japanese-style and delicious, featuring grilled salmon as the main dish. Western guests also stay here, and I think this Accommodation has a pretty good reputation.

For the past few years, I’ve been staying at the Phoenix Park Hotel whenever I visit Nago. Before that, I used other Accommodations as well. This Hotel is quiet, and 21st Century Forest Park (the beach) is just across the road—an excellent location, with a Starbucks also set to open on the beachside in mid-April 2026. The number of parking spaces in front of the Hotel is limited, but there is plenty of parking on adjacent lots (three locations within a 30-second to 2-minute walk), so it’s not an issue. There’s also a Seven-Eleven within a short walk (under 5 minutes). Emerald, a pasta & pizza place right near the Hotel, is delicious, serves generous portions, and offers reasonable prices. I plan to stay here again next time.

The Hotel itself is quite old, and the Room also felt dated—but even for me as a Gen G, it somehow made me smile. It had a nostalgic feel and was a very relaxing place. Even the bath in the Room felt homey and calming. It was a bit chilly so I couldn’t swim in the sea, but since there’s a beach, I think it would be really enjoyable during summer vacation season. Also, breakfast portions were very large—possibly too much for women or children. I regret not asking for a smaller portion before it was served to avoid wasting food. Everyone was very kind, and unlike many modern Hotels that are all-inclusive and can feel busy or noisy with “this and that,” it was wonderfully peaceful. I’d love to come back during swimming season. From what I researched, there aren’t any shops nearby within easy walking distance, but the shop inside the Hotel was open until 10:00 PM, which was very helpful.

A Villa I had wanted to stay at for years. My husband finally got some time off, and we initially searched around Chiba, but since it was summer vacation, reservations were hard to secure. Expanding our search nationwide, we found availability in Okinawa and decided to stay at a Villa there while visiting family. Upon arrival, the unmanned check-in process was a bit confusing but completed successfully. After placing our luggage in the room and opening the fridge, we were amazed by the amount of welcome drinks! We prepared for a BBQ with items we brought along and headed straight to the pool—it was spacious and absolutely fantastic! The room itself was incredibly large; I found myself running every time I moved around. However, moving between rooms at night required passing through the courtyard, which was challenging for me as someone who dislikes insects. When it got dark, we planned to have a BBQ in the courtyard but ended up grilling outside and eating indoors due to my aversion to bugs. All cooking utensils were provided, which made everything so convenient. I would definitely love to stay here again during future visits home!

We stayed for two nights on our trip to Okinawa. The Room was spacious and clean, which left a great impression. Since we got drenched in sweat during the trip, being able to use the coin laundry was a big help. Breakfast was satisfying—we could even have taco rice and (a small amount of) Soki soba. A few minor points that could be improved: - The elevator signage inside the Hotel was a bit hard to understand; I didn’t realize until the second day that there are vending machines besides the ones on the 1st floor. - There were no loungewear in the Room, and it took me a while to notice that you can freely pick them up from the elevator hall. - I only realized at the washing machines that detergent must be purchased at the front desk, so I had to make an extra round trip. None of these were really the Hotel’s fault—just things I would have figured out if I’d thought about it—but having them clearly noted would have been convenient.

Due to the typhoon, it became difficult to stay on Kouri Island. Even after arriving in Okinawa, power outages and other issues meant we were ultimately guided to an Accommodation on Sesoko Island. Above all, the staff in charge were truly wonderful and kept us informed in advance by email and phone. We looked for other places as well, but we still wanted to stay here and held out until the very last minute. We couldn’t stay on Kouri Island, but they arranged Sesoko Island for us, and we had a fulfilling trip. The Accommodation was on Sesoko Island, but I’m sure Kouri Island is also amazing without a doubt. The pool, the Facility, and the staff—everything was excellent!
