A new luxury resort has been born in Beppu, one of Japan's premier Onsen destinations. The resort features 89 spacious guest rooms, an infinity pool with breathtaking views, a spa, open-air baths and Onsen Facilities, four meeting and banquet rooms, and the Club InterContinental, offering you the ultimate experience. Perched on a hill overlooking Beppu’s cityscape and rising steam, the 34-room designer Hotel “GALLERIA MIDOBARU” is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Beppu IC. Showcasing the textures of earth and stone and incorporating traditional plastering and other architectural techniques, the interior features artworks by artists from Japan and abroad throughout. All Rooms feature indoor Onsen baths adorned with hinoki wood, and from the Japanese-style rooms on the second floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Beppu's nightscape. Additionally, you can savor the local specialty, Kanna's hell-steamed dishes, with a menu that changes seasonally.
