Both the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, and the staff and the proprietress are warm and welcoming—every visit is truly relaxing.

We stayed to celebrate a birthday anniversary. The hot spring water was excellent, and the amenities were well stocked. In the bathroom refrigerator, there were small sherbet treats (for heatstroke prevention?), along with water and tea. At dinner, there was a surprise that made us very happy, and we were able to spend this special time in a meaningful way. Thank you very much.

With a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, in-room dining, and a massage chair, everything can be enjoyed without leaving your Room. This is the best place for a stay-in retreat! We chose the Gourmet Light Meal Plan, and it was just the right amount for us in our 60s. A highly recommended Accommodation.

The staff provided excellent service, from our arrival to meal service. The large public bath and the Room were very clean, and the food was delicious, making our stay very comfortable. It became a wonderful memory of our family trip. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay. The new Room had a private indoor bath, and we were truly satisfied. Dinner was French cuisine, and every dish prepared by the delightful chef was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. We would love to visit again.

I came back for a second visit right away!! As expected, this place was amazing! I was so happy that the proprietress remembered me. The meals were delicious as always! The hot spring water was wonderful! I’m already hoping to come back for a third time!

We stayed with four people. Even with four beds lined up, the Room didn’t feel cramped and was comfortable. The Room was a bit dark, so we tried various ways to brighten it, but it seemed there weren’t enough light bulbs, and even at maximum brightness it still felt dim. We used the buffet for meals. The food was close to our seats, and both the selection and taste were excellent. The staff cleared our plates and checked that dishes weren’t running out, and everything—including the tables—was clean with no mess. We’d like to stay here again when we visit the amusement park.

Made a last-minute Reservation the day before. On a whim, I hoped it might help support the recovery efforts even a little—and we were even upgraded to a Room one rank above what we had reserved. The Facility showed its age, but we had the large public bath almost to ourselves and were able to relax. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right. It felt homey, and the staff were very pleasant, making it a great trip.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. After arriving at the Accommodation and taking a short break, we headed to the spacious open-air Onsen. Other guests were already there and said the water was amazing—like a beauty serum. After trying it ourselves, we completely agreed. The silky-smooth water felt incredibly soothing. The cave bath seemed even more moisturizing, making it an Onsen you could stay in forever. Not only was the large public bath wonderful, but the in-Room bath was also beautifully made of stone. I can’t even count how many times we used it during our stay. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. We also really enjoyed sightseeing at Kikuchi Castle Ruins, Yamaga’s Sakura-yu, and Kikuchi Gorge.

My parents stayed here when they came to cheer at a game. They said the meals were hearty and delicious, and they were very satisfied.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, was outstanding.

Although we arrived a little late for check-in, the hostess kindly welcomed us, and we were able to relax and recover from our fatigue in the Onsen. The Room was also comfortable—we just wish we had arrived a bit earlier to take our time. We would like to stay again.

We decided to visit Greenland at our kids’ request, and while looking for nearby Accommodation we found this fun place. For a family of five, it cost about JPY 25,000 without meals. It was our first time staying in a trailer house, but it felt like a secret hideout and the kids loved it. However, I understand it may be unavoidable due to the structure, but the smell from the toilet was quite strong—this was the only negative point. The surrounding area is well equipped with supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, and more, so even if you forget something you can easily buy what you need. The best part was the amazing on-site hot springs! The large public bath was clean, and there were various saunas that were really interesting. It would have been even better with a TV, but it was still wonderful. There’s also a manga corner and free relaxation lounge where the kids were thrilled. There’s also a small gym (not full-scale), which I really enjoyed as well. Also, even on check-out day you can use the facilities until closing time, so we stopped by for a bath and休憩 on our way back from Greenland. We really appreciated that. Next time I’d like to come during a cooler season, but we were very satisfied overall. Thank you.

We upgraded our meal to a kaiseki course with meat, and it was very delicious. The Room was a spacious 10-tatami room for three people, and we were satisfied. The service was good, and there were table tennis and billiards rooms next to each other in the entrance hall; hearing guests’ cheerful voices created a lively atmosphere, which we also enjoyed. Roasting and eating marshmallows in the hall was fun, and there were plenty of books available as well. We would like to stay again.

Many international guests were staying there. During meals, the staff kindly asked if they could serve portions for us and made sure to let us know so that the small children wouldn’t have to wait in line. My grandchildren were very happy as well. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed here again because my stay in March was so wonderful. The Onsen is free-flowing and silky-smooth. I was able to relax in the clean bath. The meals were also delicious. I can unwind without any worries, so I would like to visit again.

I stayed in a single room and was satisfied with the reasonable price and the Onsen. It felt a bit old, but I only needed it for sleeping, so I was happy with it.

We stayed here to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We arrived early and waited in the car, but despite the rain, we were warmly greeted with an umbrella and escorted into the Hotel. The welcome drinks, including matcha beer and panna cotta, were delightful. On top of that, the food was exceptional. The aged meats were absolutely mouthwatering. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends. Everything was perfect. We look forward to visiting again!

The location is great, so the price is reasonable. With No Meals Included, there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and we enjoyed our stay. Most Ryokan in Yamaga are old and have a retro feel, but the staff were kind and helpful—they responded politely when we contacted them about arriving early and answered our questions with lots of useful information. After sightseeing, I came to like Yamaga even more.
