It is a renewed version of the restaurant [Tohan], which originated from the culinary inn [Ehan] loved by late Edo period patriots and Hirobumi Ito. We have created a stay where you can feel close to the "traditions and food culture of Onomichi" while being inside the facility, starting with the "cuisine showcased by the small inn with a restaurant" that inherits the history of the former restaurant. The concept of [Onomichi Hansei] is "Heartful, Japanese Modern Classic." We offer hospitality with services that mainly delight female guests, incorporating a "Japanese Modern Classic" taste into the interior decorations and room designs.

Onomichi flourished as a key hub in Japan where people, goods, information, and culture came and went. At the traditional Property in front of Setoda Port, the Setouchi fish kaiseki cuisine freshly sourced on the same day is recommended. Additionally, the lemon bath featuring slices of Setoda's specialty lemons, known for their strong acidity, is said to leave the skin smooth.
