Benesse House, opened in 1992, is an accommodation that integrates a museum and a hotel under the concept of "Coexistence of Nature, Architecture, and Art." Additionally, it includes a restaurant, café, spa, and shop. All architecture was designed by Tadao Ando to harmonize with the environment of Setonaikai National Park over time. The long slopes, stairs, pathways for movement within the facility, and natural light streaming through framed openings invite guests to experience contemporary art with their entire being.
