Kurashiki Ivy Square is a complex tourist Facility that combines a Hotel and cultural Facility, created by preserving and reusing as much as possible the exterior and trees of the original factory of the Kurashiki Spinning Mill (now Kurabo) from the Meiji era. It also features experience Facilities and shops where you can purchase Kurashiki's crafts, folk art, and local confectionery as souvenirs. In 2020, the renovation of all guest rooms was completed. Inspired by the warm climate of Okayama, the rooms utilize wooden materials and are designed as relaxing spaces with a natural image.
