It was renowned as a famous Ryokan often visited by Minakata Kumagusu, a great naturalist and folklorist born in Wakayama. Later, "Ryokan Kinjo-kan" relocated to Shirahama, and in Showa 25 (1950), I inherited the name "Ryokan Musashi" from my mother. Since then, I have cherished my mother's teachings and continue to uphold them to this day.
