You can experience the abundant natural Onsen of Shirahama, one of Japan's three great Onsen, through our own source-fed, free-flowing Onsen baths available in all large communal baths and open-air baths. Enjoy various baths, including a panoramic large communal bath with full glass walls overlooking the vast ocean below. From the open-air baths and large communal baths, you can listen to the sound of the sea breeze as background music, admire the beautiful sunset sinking into the horizon, and at night, see countless fishing lights reflecting on the dark sea.

We chose this name with the hope that you will savor delicious cuisine in an elegant, high-quality setting—like relaxing at a private villa. With this sentiment in mind, "Kuroshio Sou" offers a total of 11 rooms: 8 Garden View Standard Rooms and 3 Corner Junior Suites. We feature a large public bath with natural hot spring water sourced directly from the Nanki Shirahama Onsen, as well as a private hinoki cypress bath where you can feel the essence of traditional Japanese beauty. For dining, we provide dishes crafted with local ingredients under the supervision of Chef Ryohei Hayashi from the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant "Tenoshima" in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

With a natural Onsen flowing directly from the source, you can enjoy a stunning view of Shirarahama Beach from the spacious terrace. It is approximately a 17-minute drive from JR Shirahama Station and about a 10-minute drive from Shirahama Airport. From Osaka Station or Namba Station, it takes about 3 hours and 20–40 minutes by highway bus, and the nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. Shirarahama Beach is just a 10-minute walk, making it perfect for enjoying a day at the beach. We also offer BBQ Plans on the terrace and seasonal catering options.
