We stayed with our children and grandchildren to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Not only was the Facility beautiful and wonderful, but all of the staff were kind and greeted us with warm smiles, which made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much. However, our grandchildren got extremely excited and were quite noisy during meals, so if we made other guests uncomfortable, we sincerely apologize… To everyone who stayed on the same day—sorry! Our grandchildren seemed to have a great time as well, and our whole family was very satisfied with our stay… We’re sorry—and thank you again. It was a Hotel we’d want to visit again and again.

We’ve been staying here every year—this year makes it about 10 years. It’s a Hotel where both children and adults can relax, just as always. The food is always so delicious it amazes us, and it’s truly enjoyable! We’ll be back again next year with our whole family!

All the staff were very kind. My family of three stayed in the Room “Engetsu,” and it was spacious enough. The bath and dining area were on the same floor, so access was excellent. The bath was fully stocked—not only shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but also facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion—and the water had a wonderfully silky feel. The meals were outstanding as well. We enjoyed a relaxing sea bream feast in our Room. They even included beer as a complimentary service, and we were truly impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. We had breakfast in the dining area; there was a great variety of side dishes, and everything was delicious too. When I visit Shirahama again, I would definitely like to stay at Akariya again.

A typhoon was approaching and the weather looked rainy, but it didn’t rain much, and we were able to see a wonderful sunset from the restaurant. The view from the large public bath was also amazing. The meals, made with ingredients from Wakayama, were all delicious. It was disappointing that we couldn’t watch Netflix or Amazon Prime in the room (the internet didn’t seem to connect) and that the shuttle bus service has been discontinued, but everything else was great. I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stopped by on our way back from visiting a family grave at Mount Koya. This was our second stay, and the Onsen was especially relaxing—we truly enjoyed the ocean view right in front of us. The meals were delicious, and we were very happy with the complimentary drinks service in the lounge that started this year. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again for a third or fourth time.

After our pet passed away last year, my spouse and I have been using your villas and condominiums to relax and enjoy our time together. The Room was spacious, beautiful, and spotless, and there were three open-air baths. The meals were buffet-style with a wide variety of options. The lounge was excellent!

I stayed at your Accommodation in Kinosaki before, and this time I stayed in Shirahama. The Room was spacious, and the children were very happy. At dinner, a staff member kindly offered to take a family photo for us, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

I’m a Wakayama resident! I often stay at various Hotels in Shirahama. I knew the name, but wasn’t sure what it would be like… I was blown away! I regret not coming sooner. Amazing value for money, great food, and excellent hot spring quality! The bread was the best I’ve ever had. I definitely want to come back again!

We stayed here to enjoy swimming at Shirarahama Beach. Before check-in, they let us use the changing room and paid lockers, and we reached Shirarahama Beach in just a few minutes on foot. They also have an air pump for float rings, of course. After swimming, we could rinse off the sand with the outdoor warm-water shower and then head straight to the Onsen, which was great. Both the Room and the Facility were clean, and there were free drinks available throughout the property—we enjoyed them after bathing and while waiting for the elevator. The plum soda was delicious. The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was tasty. It was also nice that freshly cooked steak and tempura were brought directly to our table. Since our buffet time slot was later, we were able to go see the sunset at Engetsuto Island before dinner. Even after checkout, they offered parking for 1,000 yen, and told us we could use the paid lockers—and even use the baths after 2:00 PM—so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy an Onsen after coming back from the beach before heading home. If you’re going swimming at the beach, this place is absolutely “Musashi”! It was that good. All of the staff were kind, and it made for a truly great trip. Thank you very much.

It was a very comfortable and wonderful villa. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the bath was absolutely lovely. I will definitely stay here again.

This was our third stay, and the free-flowing Onsen with no added water is outstanding. One of the highlights is being able to relax together as a couple in the private bath. Breakfast was delicious both to look at and to eat, and we were completely full. The parking lot is spacious, the location is great, and we love the views from the Room—Shirarahama Beach, sunsets, and more. We’d like to visit again when we can find the time.

This was our first trip with our pet. Both the Room environment and the dog run were excellent. The meals were luxurious for both breakfast and dinner, and we were very satisfied. It was also the perfect season to enjoy the open-air bath. There was a festival as well, and the children had a great time. We would definitely like to stay here again on our next trip with our dog.

The Room and Facility are slightly old, but the layout was satisfactory. The large public bath and breakfast buffet deserve five stars. It would be perfect if there were additional outlets on the side. Great value for money!

Everything, including the Room and the bath, was clean and spotless, which made us very happy. The meals were generous in portion size, and the meat was tender; we had one older guest with us, and they were pleased because it was easy to eat. We had previously stayed at another villa that wasn’t clean and had a difficult time, so we arrived feeling a bit anxious—but this place far exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, and we were truly delighted. There were quite a few insects due to the season, but it was great that various insect-repellent products were provided. The amenities were also very well stocked and wonderful! The pool and the view were amazing as well. It was great to be able to refresh ourselves properly for the first time in a while. We would definitely love to stay again! Next time, we’d like to stay for two nights! Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious and had a sofa, so we could relax comfortably, and the bath was wonderful—like a stone bath. If I may mention just one thing, since pets are allowed and there is a small garden, it would have been even better if it were fenced so that small dogs could run around. Of course, even without that it was more than good enough! We would love to stay again.

My elderly mother had a wonderful stay—thank you! During our Multiple Night Stay, you kindly lent us a locker and helped us switch to a different Room, which was very helpful. The lobby was also quiet and pleasant.

It was wonderful to enjoy the excellent natural Onsen water both in the large public bath and in the Room bath. In a quiet setting, I was able to rest soundly.

The road to the Accommodation was narrow, and I got lost at first. The room was clean, and the Facility was satisfactory—sleep comfort was excellent, of course. The free breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was more than enough and I appreciated being able to use it. What felt most convenient was the guest-only parking lot. Just by having my parking ticket validated for free at the counter, I could come and go by car as I liked, which was great. The Accommodation Fee is reasonable as well, and I think it’s a good Hotel.

We stayed as a family of five. We were very satisfied. The service was excellent. We would like to stay again.
