Kaiseki Yado Shiosato was established in 1953 and has been operating as a Ryokan in this Banshu region for many years. Starting as a very small Ryokan with only 3 Rooms at the time of its founding, we have gradually grown with the support of our local guests. In 2003, marking our 50th anniversary, we underwent a complete renovation and have since been operating as a Property with 11 Rooms. Today, we welcome not only local guests but also many visitors from other prefectures through introductions and recommendations. Shiosato is still in the process of growth. Shironoshita Guesthouse is located about a 15-minute walk from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle, and about a 4-minute walk from JR Koguchi Station, which is one stop (150 yen) on the Bantan Line from JR Himeji Station. It is also about a 23-minute walk from Himeji Station, so you can choose to walk if you prefer. Although it is slightly away from the center of Himeji, this allows for a quiet night's sleep. Additionally, there are places to eat and convenience stores nearby. If you are arriving by car, parking in this area is cheaper than around Himeji Station, with coin parking available for 600 yen within 24 hours. Motorcycles and bicycles can be parked for free on the guesthouse premises, but please let us know in advance to secure space. Opened as a newly built facility in June 2017, the guesthouse offers a clean and comfortable environment.
