In the public space, where guests can spend their time as they wish, we have prepared picture books and toys for children to enjoy. Our cuisine features ingredients from the San'in and Northern Kinki regions, with seafood directly sourced from Kasumi Port and Shibayama Port. Enjoy seasonal local specialties such as live conger eel in spring, live squid in summer, Kasumi crab in autumn, and Shibayama crab in winter, prepared to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients. On the first floor, the rock bath is a unique Onsen that utilizes the natural slope of the mountain behind the Property, while the second-floor bath area offers both an indoor bath and a semi-open-air bath. There is nothing extravagant here, but we offer a relaxing time with mountain wildflowers, seafood, and heartfelt hospitality. In summer, enjoy a variety of seven natural and rock oyster dishes prepared by skilled oyster shuckers, fresh squid from Kasumi, salt-grilled natural sweetfish from the Yada River, salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch, Tajima beef steak, and in autumn, Kasumi crab, and in winter, Matsuba crab. These seasonal delicacies can be savored in semi-private or private Rooms. Relax in the indoor bath of the large communal bath or the private cypress bath to fully enjoy Shibayama Onsen. Surrounded by pure water, lush green mountains, and the beautiful scenery of each season, the Ryokan is located on a hilltop in Shibayama, offering the best location. The landscape evokes a nostalgic feeling, reminiscent of the countryside you might have visited as a child, with its comfort and simplicity. 1 minute walk to Bentenhama Beach! 5 minutes by car to Takeno Beach! This is a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house renovated into a private rental Property. While preserving the charm of the old house, such as its valuable beams and fittings, modern amenities like updated water facilities and air conditioning in the Room have been installed to ensure a comfortable stay. Enjoy a relaxing time in this private space. The Property owner also runs a Japanese restaurant called "Uchige no Ryori Yashio," located just a 1-minute walk from the Property. While the Property offers accommodation only, the meal-inclusive Plan provides a course meal featuring local fish at this restaurant. In winter, you can also savor Matsuba crab.
