A single-story traditional house Hotel for rent, lavishly utilizing natural materials in its space.

Located in Sakaiya-machi, the western gateway to the castle town of Tamba Sasayama, this Property is a machiya townhouse over 100 years old, originally operated as an antique shop. Designed with natural materials such as stone, Japanese paper, and bamboo lavishly incorporated into the Facility space, it offers a relaxing stay for one group per day. Named "Eighty-One," it aims to provide guests with an experience that reflects the essence of Tamba and evokes the charm of traditional Japan. In addition to accommodation, there is an attached gallery called "Sanshi," where you can purchase "Tamba-fu," cotton fabric dyed with plants and trees using techniques passed down since the late Edo period.

A private accommodation surrounded by ten cultural properties and an illuminated stone garden.

Mameya is a private rental Accommodation—an early Taisho-era nationally registered Tangible Cultural Property—renovated under the design of Shinsozai Kenkyujo. Surrounded by a landscape of stone garden and tiled roof, the space is filled with tranquility, and at night soft lights illuminate the garden. Reserve all four uniquely styled rooms and enjoy the original architectural details: a Western-style lounge that evokes the building’s early days, bedrooms with exposed beams, and views of the stone garden through yukimi shoji screens—an experience that feels like stepping back into the Taisho period. Spend a soothing moment at Mameya, a special place where Tamba-Sasayama’s history, nature, and art resonate together.
