The garden, surrounded by lush greenery and featuring a large maple tree, transforms with each season. KYOBU Chawan-zaka is located at the entrance of Chawan-zaka, where kilns of Kiyomizu-yaki, a representative of traditional Kyo-yaki crafts, are lined up, and it faces the World Heritage Site Kiyomizu Temple. The property features works by Kiyomizu-yaki ceramic artist Yuichi Inokai, a collection of Kyo-yaki tableware, a large ceramic bathtub in the bathroom, and from the staircase window, you can view Higiri Jizo, a symbol of the local faith of the Kiyomizu area, allowing you to enjoy Kyoto through both sight and touch.

This area, where Higashiyama Roku is located, is called "Rokuhara," and nearby are Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple, Rokkaku-no-Tsuji, and Rokuhara Chinko-ji Temple. A Kyo-machiya, completed in Taisho 3 (1914), has been carefully restored by skilled craftsmen, preserving its original exterior. Inside the building, features such as fittings and transoms, which have been cherished by generations of owners, reflect over 100 years of history. We have created a serene space where guests staying at the Property can also feel a connection to the time when the building was originally constructed. The Rooms at Higashiyama Roku have been designed under the supervision of washi paper designer Eriko Horiki, who created washi light walls and lighting, offering a space where guests can enjoy the subtle shadows, the charm, and the transitions of a machiya. The lighting and Shigaraki ware round bathtubs, supervised by washi designer Eriko Horiki, as well as the noren (curtain) featuring calligraphy by Hina Aoyagi, the director of the Hokuriku Calligraphy Institute, are just some of the carefully curated details found throughout.

Located in an alley near the landmark 'Yasaka Tower' in Gion, Kyoto, this is a fully rented machiya property. The first floor features a living room facing a Kyoto-style courtyard garden, an entrance hall with light from the ceiling, a kitchen equipped with an IH stove, and a bathroom. The second floor includes a bedroom with low beds reflecting Japanese aesthetics and a traditional Japanese-style room. Enjoy a luxurious time in a space filled with the softness and warmth of Japanese design.

A fully private, one-group-per-day Property renovated from a traditional townhouse near "Miyagawa-cho," one of Kyoto's five geisha districts. The first floor retains the traditional "eel bed" layout of a Kyoto townhouse while creating an open space by removing partitions. It features a living-dining area, a kitchen for self-catering, and a courtyard garden that reflects the seasons, allowing natural light to brighten the space. You can also enjoy a relaxing view of the courtyard garden from the bathroom equipped with a rain shower. The second floor offers both Japanese and Western-style bedrooms with large, historic beams preserved, as well as a shower room, ensuring a comfortable stay even for larger groups. Modern Facilities, such as a projector for a home theater experience, are also available to make your stay even more enjoyable.

About a 5-minute walk from Keihan Main Line "Kiyomizu-Gojo Station," a quiet alley leads you to a traditional Kyoto world. The interior, with its white walls and black pillars, retains the original building materials, allowing you to feel the history. The townhouse is equipped with a spacious kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub and washing area, ensuring a relaxing Kyoto trip. A washing machine is also available, making it comfortable for a Multiple Night Stay. Unlike a Hotel, you can take off your shoes at the entrance and enjoy a more relaxed stay, making it ideal for trips with small children! Near the townhouse, you will find not only Keihan trains but also Keihan bus stops, making it convenient for sightseeing in other areas. While preserving the charm of the traditional townhouse, such as low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs, we have renovated the water facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. Enjoy a private space where you can relax with friends or family. Kiyomizu Temple, Sanjusangendo, and the Kyoto National Museum are all within walking distance. Meals are not included, but bustling areas like Gion and Kiyamachi are within walking distance. A microwave, hot plate, and rice cooker are provided, allowing for self-catering. *Please note that from October 20, 2024, to October 1, 2025, construction of a Hotel is planned on the adjacent land.
