En is an exclusive one-group-per-day auberge located in Shigaraki, Shiga, Kansai. It was created through the "en" (connections) of those captivated by traditional Japanese architecture, built by master carpenters who carry on ancient construction techniques. The chef, Kazuo Ikuta, has pursued his culinary path for nearly 50 years, serving as the head chef at Kyoto Brighton Hotel and owner of Michelin one-star restaurant "Kyoto Okazaki Ikuta." With the philosophy of "never serving food without love," he dedicates himself to each guest.The Facility features unique experiences such as a dry landscape garden viewed from an irori room, a bath with a private garden, and a kura sauna. We hope this place becomes a cherished connection for all our guests.

A Business Hotel just a 5-minute drive from Kusatsu Station. Double rooms feature a spacious 140 cm-wide bed for a comfortable night’s sleep. Convenient access to the Ritto, Seta, and Ishiyama Station areas in 12–20 minutes by car. We offer an on-site surface parking lot with space for 50 vehicles (first come, first served), free of charge for one car per room.
