We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. We chose this Accommodation because it offers views of Lake Biwa. The scenery throughout the property was exactly as shown in the photos on the website, and we were captivated by the refined design and attention to detail. We booked a Plan that included breakfast and dinner, and every dish made generous use of local ingredients and was truly delicious. It was a Hotel with an outstanding view and location overlooking Lake Biwa. We made a Reservation for two twin Rooms for our family, and they even connected the two Rooms internally—service beyond what we expected. Although there are limited hours of use, the panoramic bath on the 7th floor was also great. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we had a very pleasant stay.

Perhaps because we visited on a weekday, the baths were almost private, and we could relax and take our time. The meals were excellent in both portion size and taste, and they were served in a private room. Since we had children with us, we really appreciated that. The Hotel staff were all very kind, and we would love to stay here again when we visit Shiga.
