I sincerely apologize for my late thank-you. This was our second stay. The front desk location had changed since last time, so I was a little confused at first. After we arrived, you upgraded us from Room KOURAI 202 to Room NOMATSU 403, which was an unexpected and wonderful offer, and we were truly delighted. As it’s the most popular among the staff, it was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden from both the bath and the Room—an exceptionally comfortable and calming place to spend time. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and since there was only one other group besides us, we were able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere as well. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Japanese sweets shops—it was great fun. We were deeply moved by how beautifully you filled in our travel memory book too. Done—we will definitely be back again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

Although our stay was short, the staff greeted us warmly with wonderful smiles, which made us feel very welcome. It reminded me how important a simple greeting can be. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but our whole family enjoyed it and found everything delicious. The kids were especially happy with the pork miso soup and curry rice. Great value for money, and we’d love to stay again when we visit Iga. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here. The front desk staff kindly explained everything, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. The amenities were well stocked, which was great. Inside the container house, it does shake a bit if you move around too much, which I noticed, but otherwise it was surprisingly quiet and I was able to relax. Having light snacks available was also very helpful. I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

I’ve stayed at container hotels before, but this was my first time experiencing one where everything from check-in onward is fully self-service. Some parts are a bit hard to understand, but overall I think it’s good. What I personally liked was having a mini kitchen and a washing machine inside the Room. Also, like other container hotels, there’s a microwave in the Room as well, so you don’t have to keep going out of your Room and there’s no waiting your turn (especially great for business trips). What bothered me was that I couldn’t find a replacement bath mat, so I wasn’t able to change it during my Multiple Night Stay. Also, the kitchen faucet is positioned too close to the front edge, so if you’re not careful when using it, water can splash onto your clothes or feet. In addition, vibrations from the outdoor unit of the air conditioner resonated quite a bit inside the Room and felt slightly unpleasant. Despite these complaints, I’m very satisfied overall because with container hotels you can park close by and there’s no waiting for elevators—so it feels much like staying at home.

I suddenly got some time off and decided to travel. When I searched online, Hill Hotel Sunpia Iga came up with a meal plan. Even though it was only a week before my stay, the large public bath was very spacious, bright, and clean—and it’s an Onsen! My body and hair felt moisturized, and I warmed up wonderfully. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, which I enjoyed in a calm setting that felt like a semi-private room. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of options for both rice and bread, and I left completely full. The value for money was excellent—it felt almost too good for the price. Thank you very much for taking such good care of me.

The meals were delicious. The coffee service was also helpful. Although it is an artificial Onsen, it warmed my body and allowed me to relax.

During this stay, I also tried the optional “Earth Sauna,” and it exceeded all expectations. The gentle heat felt like being wrapped in soil—soft on the skin, yet warming you thoroughly from the core. It was clearly different from a typical sauna, with a deep warmth that lingered long after. During the outdoor cool-down, I felt at one with the quiet natural air and experienced such complete relaxation that I couldn’t think of anything else. And then there was the tea sauna. With each löyly, the refined aroma of Asamiya tea filled the space, soothing with every breath. The heat was mild, and the balance of fragrance and humidity was perfect—it felt relaxing even to the mind. There is also a Shigaraki ware gallery inside, and being able to purchase pieces is another highlight. It wasn’t just about saunas—it was a stay where you can truly experience Shigaraki culture. Being able to enjoy two completely different sauna experiences within the same Facility is pure luxury. This wasn’t just about sweating—it was an “experience sauna.” I will definitely be back again.

It was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the eel set meal, and every dish—from the appetizer to the final course—was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The daily set meal was also outstanding, with each dish prepared personally by the chef. The quality rivaled Michelin-starred restaurants, and even the tableware showed great taste.

I stay here every time I visit Suzuka Circuit during race week. It’s about 40 km from Suzuka, and Hotels around Suzuka—sorry to say—are outrageously overpriced during race week. Since I take the Meihan Expressway, the travel time isn’t a problem, and even during race week the pricing stays reasonable with no big jump. There’s a large public bath, free parking, WOWOW, and the Room is clean, so I can stay with peace of mind. The breakfast buffet also has a great selection and is very satisfying. Even factoring in fuel costs, this Hotel still offers excellent value. Lately I don’t even search around Suzuka—I just make my Reservation at this Hotel every time.

I had a comfortable stay. It’s not luxurious, but it feels like a compact and smart Hotel. The Simmons bed made for a great night’s sleep.

Check-in was available from 15:00, and we enjoyed our time to the fullest. The Room and Facility were still new and clean. We would love to use it again along with golf. Thank you very much!

We stayed here as a couple. On the second day, we used the private family bath. The Shigaraki-ware tanuki bathtub created a wonderful atmosphere. Enjoying the open-air bath in the morning felt truly luxurious. However, there was no shampoo or body soap provided, which was disappointing. The meals were delicious, and with a wide selection of local Shiga sake, we ended up finishing everything while feeling pleasantly relaxed. This is an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.
