Natural Onsen baths and a wide variety of delicious dishes. It feels like a luxury Onsen Hotel from Japan’s Showa bubble era. There are older and newer wings, and from everywhere we enjoyed stunning views of the calm, rolling waves of Mikawa Bay. The lighthouse was charming and atmospheric. The many sets of Mikawa samurai armor and bridal kimono also gave us a sense of the history of Katahara Castle from the Sengoku period. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

All of the dishes were delicious, and the shabu-shabu and shellfish dishes in particular were outstanding! We could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and we were very satisfied. The staff were all friendly and welcoming with warm smiles, which made our stay feel comfortable and worry-free. The meals, centered around seafood, were all delicious and very satisfying in portion size. The fresh sashimi especially left a lasting impression. I was looking for a Ryokan with an Onsen within two hours from home. I could enjoy the sea and the Onsen, and the meals were served as a kaiseki course rather than a buffet, so I was able to dine calmly and at a relaxed pace. All of the staff were very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. My grandchild and daughter who came with me were also very satisfied. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.
