Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. I was satisfied with both the meals and the Onsen. I visited by motorcycle, and being able to park in the garage made me feel very secure. I would like to stay again.

Located in the simple, relaxing town of Matsuzaki, this is a simple and calming Accommodation. The Room is very clean, and simple in a really good way. There are two izakaya within easy reach, so you won’t have trouble finding dinner, and there’s also a snack bar just a few minutes’ walk away. The bath is also a natural Onsen—morning baths are the best! This is my regular place to stay.

We’ve stayed here for two years in a row. It’s great because you can enjoy indoor activities even on rainy days, like the projector, karaoke, table tennis, and games. There aren’t many places where you can bring dogs, stay with a large group, and rent the whole place privately. There is a dog-friendly Plan, but I think our dogs would have been happier if there had been a bit more space than just a crate… It also would have been nice if puppy pads were provided, but overall it was such a fun place for everyone that we were very satisfied. We’ll come again next year. Thank you very much.

The proprietress and all the staff were kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with satisfying portions. The abalone at dinner and the dried fish at breakfast were especially tasty! Unfortunately, we didn’t use the private bath this time because it felt like too much of a hassle to go there, but the in-room bath was more than enough. If I had to mention one thing, I wanted to go for an early-morning walk to fully enjoy wonderful Matsuzaki Town, but the doors were locked for security so I couldn’t go out. I also understand that having staff on duty from early morning may not be practical, and every Accommodation has its own style, so that’s completely fine. It’s truly a wonderful setting, and I’d love to stay again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The three of us—my 92-year-old mother, my husband, and I—found and chose this Accommodation online, and everything was excellent. We were able to relax in the renovated Japanese-style Room and bedroom. Although it is an Accommodation where you can stay with your dog, it felt very clean, and it seemed that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. The meals were also very delicious, and the boat platter was more than we could finish. It was disappointing that we couldn’t go cruising due to the typhoon, but since it was before summer vacation there were no crowds, we could get around smoothly, and we fully enjoyed a wonderful trip to Izu. Thank you again. We would love to stay here again.

My children stayed at the Accommodation with their father for the first time. They said the food was delicious and their stay was comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and they couldn’t set off the fireworks they had been looking forward to, but it still seems to have become a wonderful memory. If we have the opportunity, we would love to visit again.

I had been feeling worn out, so I made a same-day Reservation because I wanted to soak in the Onsen. Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. Even though it was reasonably priced, dinner felt luxurious—there was simmered golden eye snapper, which really impressed me. Everything was delicious, and I felt refreshed. The staff were also kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

The sunset and sunrise were absolutely wonderful. The Onsen was also very nice. Even after we got close to the Accommodation, we couldn’t find it and had to look around. Since the Accommodation wasn’t listed on our car’s navigation system, we asked a local and were able to find it.
