The third-generation owner of Arai Ryokan had close relationships with literary and artistic figures, leading to the creation of numerous works of Japanese painting and literature at Arai Ryokan. Nurtured by pure water and brought to fruition with the help of many hands, "rice" symbolizes the heart of people. At "Tao Shin An Komeya," we have incorporated the character "rice" into our name to honor this sentiment. Our accommodation, originally established in 1928 as "Tokaikan," was renewed and reopened on July 1, 2008, as "Kutsurogi Biyori Ito Yukitei." While inheriting the traditional spirit of hospitality, we offer a new stay experience with refined cuisine and services. Auberge Hanaki is a culinary Ryokan located in Izu-Ito Onsen, exclusively accommodating two groups per day. The Japanese-modern space, blending traditional and contemporary styles, offers a soothing retreat. There are only two rooms, each featuring an ancient hinoki wood bath. This is a small auberge situated along a tranquil riverside.

A small Property, Mastramp, offering French cuisine made with fresh seafood from Izu and seasonal local vegetables. In the summer of 2023, we completed two distinct types of detached guest rooms. Equipped with a natural hot spring bath and a terrace, you can enjoy a blissful stay while feeling the beauty of nature throughout the seasons. Le bois ("The Forest") Located on a hilltop, this room features a chic and modern atmosphere. The second-floor observatory offers a separate space where you can feel close to the sky and forest. La riviere ("The River") A bright and natural-themed room filled with sunlight. It also includes a private sauna, allowing you to refresh to your heart's content. Relax in a premium suite room filled with the scent of wood.

The first floor features a sophisticated Japanese-modern space, while the second floor offers two connected traditional Japanese Rooms, providing a serene atmosphere for a luxurious holiday. The large Onsen bath on the first floor, supplied with sulfate hot spring water, is available for unlimited free use. It is known for its benefits in relieving fatigue, joint pain, frozen shoulder, as well as aiding in the healing of cuts and burns. Nearby the Property, you can find Lake Ippeki, often referred to as the "Eye of Izu," which is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, to vibrant autumn foliage.

A Property with its own natural hot spring, located on a hill overlooking Ajiro Bay in South Atami. Just a 7-minute drive from JR Ito Line Ajiro Station. The Onsen features a pH 9.5 alkaline simple spring, known for its ability to cleanse the skin of impurities and old keratin, leaving it smooth and soft. Additionally, it is cherished as a "drinkable Onsen," believed to have benefits for constipation and digestive health. The 4,000-tsubo garden boasts a flowing stream and seasonal flowers and trees, offering a picturesque and serene strolling experience. For meals, we serve kaiseki cuisine prepared daily with carefully selected ingredients!

The Room is an apartment-style Japanese-Western suite, featuring a spacious living area of 24 tatami mats or more, plus a Japanese-style room and a bedroom. With a kitchen as well, it’s perfect for a relaxing stay in. Located in Ito—famous for its abundant Onsen water—we offer fresh hot spring water at any time. When you want a change of pace, how about a Netflix viewing session on the Net TV? In the living-dining area, we have prepared a space where everyone can gather and relax. At the center is a versatile table that transforms from a café table for lounging on the sofa to a dining table for shared meals. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed, and in spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms through the window above your head. The bathroom boasts a carefully crafted stone bathtub where you can enjoy locally sourced Onsen water. Since our opening, we have received high praise, and many dates have become difficult to book due to inquiries and demand.
