FUWARI HAMANAKO is a private, fully-rented villa resort located in Sunza, the hidden retreat in the northern part of Lake Hamana, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The name FUWARI HAMANAKO (meaning "floating Hamana") was inspired by the illusion of floating on Lake Hamana that you can experience while sitting on the living room sofa. From the moment you check in, you will enjoy a completely private space that feels like visiting your own vacation home, with a sense of excitement building as soon as you step through the entrance. We promise a stay that will rejuvenate both your body and mind, surrounded by the breathtaking views of Lake Hamana and a villa resort that blends seamlessly into the natural environment.

A Resort Hotel located just a 2-minute walk from JR Bentenjima Station, surrounded by Lake Hamana and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a perfect location and delicious Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Relax in the large public bath, the only place where you can fully experience Bentenjima Onsen, while overlooking Lake Hamana and the grand torii gate of Bentenjima. Choose your Room from ocean view or train view, both offering a stunning view of Lake Hamana. During the summer, enjoy the outdoor pool or swimming in the sea right in front of the hotel. In winter, marvel at the magical scenery of the sunset sinking into the torii gate.
