We stayed at Nino Kura with two adults and, at short notice, added one child (2 years old). We had both dinner and breakfast at the main house restaurant, and I was amazed by the dinner table setting. The menu listed the date of the day, and everything—from the plates and decorative plants to the cutlery—was thoughtfully curated. Dining in such a carefully crafted space made the meal truly exceptional. As I wrote in the title, it really felt like “God is in the details.” Breakfast wasn’t as showy as dinner, but the refined Japanese breakfast was comforting. It started with appetizers, and I didn’t expect dessert at the end!!! As for our Room, they prepared items for our child as well. These small touches made our stay very comfortable. The free-flowing Toi Onsen hot spring was also wonderful.

We made a last-minute Reservation, and the Accommodation was very clean. There was also a welcome drink, and it felt like a relaxing space as soon as we arrived. For luggage, they lent us a cart, but we had to carry everything ourselves; however, there is an elevator, so it wasn’t an issue. Since our room was on the second floor, the view was more like a small glimpse of the ocean in the distance. The area is famous for beautiful sunsets, but I completely forgot and scheduled dinner at sunset time, so we couldn’t see it—such a shame. If the weather is nice, choosing a later dinner time might be better since the beach is close and you can take your time enjoying the sunset. The dog run isn’t very large, but our dog seemed to have fun running around. The meals were very generous portions and left us full. We could also order food for our dog and enjoy dining together, which was great. The photo spots were cute as well. We’d love to stay again if we have another chance.

If you’re craving delicious fish, this is highly recommended! You can enjoy truly tasty fish until you’re completely satisfied. Of course, the Room is also comfortable, and it’s a nice bonus to have a view of Mt. Fuji! The horse mackerel at breakfast was so good that I bought some to take home on the way back. A wonderful Accommodation.

I was extremely satisfied with all the Facilities in the property. The all-inclusive plan and the amenities bar were both excellent. The meals were delicious, and they were served at just the right timing. I truly felt genuine hospitality from all the staff, and it was incredibly comfortable! I will definitely be back again.

It was a wonderful, impeccably clean Room that made us think, the moment we stepped in, “We want to come back.” The open-air bath in the guest room was delightful both at night and in the morning, as we could relax while enjoying the ocean view. Meals were served separately for each party, giving a private feel and allowing us to take our time and enjoy everything. It was an extremely comfortable Accommodation that we would definitely love to visit again.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Overall, we were satisfied with everything—the bath, the meals, and the service. We had a wonderful time. The in-room open-air bath while looking out at the sea was very comfortable. The large public bath was also very spacious and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed them very much—especially the grilled abalone and shabu-shabu. We deducted a few points because the parking lot is far away (which could be difficult in rainy weather), there are limited choices for meal times, the Room does not have an automatic lock, and noise from the hallway carries easily, but overall we think it is a great Accommodation that we can recommend to friends.

I have wonderful memories of the Accommodation’s atmosphere and hospitality from my first stay, and this time I returned for the first time in seven years. I heard that during the COVID period you improved the parking area and the path to the Accommodation, and it was even easier to access than before. The atmosphere is still just as lovely, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I especially recommend the spiny lobster sashimi and the simmered golden eye snapper. This time, I also asked in advance for a birthday surprise for my friend, and you kindly accommodated my request. My friend was truly delighted, and I’m so glad I asked. Thank you very much for your pleasant hospitality and service. Above all, one of Hana Noren’s greatest charms is Toi Onsen, which helped melt away my everyday fatigue. At night I enjoyed the bath in my Room, and in the morning I woke up early to use the private bath. I truly love this time spent forgetting daily noise—the sound of flowing Onsen water and birdsong brought exceptional comfort. Thank you again for another wonderful stay. The Facilities are new, and all the staff were lively and hardworking—it was wonderful. The meals felt so healthy that you’d feel better just by staying here, and even the tea in the lobby made me feel refreshed and detoxed. It was that kind of Ryokan. I deducted one star for the baths because I’m hoping to bring my elderly mother next time, but she has trouble walking, and I worry the stairs before entering the baths might be too difficult. Other than that, the Room was spacious, the food was delicious, and it was a great Accommodation.

We stayed here during a trip around the Izu Peninsula. This Accommodation has a nostalgic, retro Showa-era atmosphere, and we recommend booking a Room with an open-air bath. We were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen as many times as we liked.\n\nThe meals were excellent. Since the sea is nearby, we enjoyed delicious fish, spiny lobster, and steamed abalone. The drinks went down easily too, making it a memorable dinner. As someone over 60, I find buffet-style dining—having to go pick up dishes myself—a bit of a hassle, so I really appreciated being served at the table.\n\nIn addition to the bath in the Room, there are three private Onsen baths available for reservation, and we used them all. The spacious open-air bath is especially recommended.\n\nThe staff were kind and courteous as well—highly rated. If we have another chance to visit Nishi-Izu, we would like to stay here again.
