This was our family’s first stay, and it was wonderful. With my birthday coming up the following week, we happened to mention it at check-in, and they surprised me at dinner with live music and a dessert—plus sweets as a gift—to celebrate! We hadn’t informed them in advance about the Reserver, so I was truly touched by the surprise. Thank you very much. All of the staff were professional—from guiding our car on arrival to explaining the Hotel, as well as the lounge and restaurant teams—and they made our stay comfortable from start to finish. The housekeeping staff also greeted us warmly. The Facility was just as beautiful as in the photos, and everything—from the amenities to the in-room sweets and beverages—was thoughtfully selected, which really conveyed their hospitality. The restaurant meals for both breakfast and dinner were vibrant, uncompromising, and absolutely delicious. I was genuinely impressed by this top-class Accommodation. We will definitely return. Thank you again.

I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

We stayed here for the first time on his birthday, and everything was wonderful. He was delighted and said it was the best Accommodation he has ever stayed at! The teppanyaki meal was delicious, and the Onsen temperature was adjusted so it could be enjoyed even in summer, making it very comfortable and relaxing. Next time, I’d like to visit again with him in winter!

It was a wonderful Accommodation. The Room size and the open-air bath were both just right for relaxing. The staff were also lovely, with the perfect sense of distance, and it was very soothing. I’m quite strict about cleanliness, but it was flawless. I’d love to stay again. For this price, the quality makes me want to come back.

I look forward to staying at Pearl Star every summer. Thanks to the staff who provide Shuttle Service with a smile from check-in to check-out, I always have a very pleasant stay. Breakfast is one of the highlights for me, and I like to get seated early and enjoy it at a relaxed pace. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again and again.

We stayed in the largest Room. Even the bath in the Room had a view of Lake Ashi. For dinner, our second son wanted Western food, so we chose French cuisine. It was delicious!! He especially liked the bread. The women’s bath was amazing too, with an open-air bath and a mist sauna!! We happened to stay on a day when there were fireworks. We went to watch from a spot where you can see them from the observation deck and the bridge below. They looked absolutely beautiful! In the evening, the lounge becomes a free lounge where you can enjoy drinks and snacks! At check-in, we also booked in-Room massages for all four of us!! I fell asleep halfway through. For breakfast, we chose Japanese cuisine. The grilled fish was horse mackerel and it was delicious!! It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again when visiting Hakone.

The ocean view from the Room is wonderful, as are the views of Atami and the sea from the restaurant. The guest Room is spacious and airy, and the Onsen bath is large enough to stretch out in. Dinner was especially delicious, particularly the stone-grilled beef tenderloin steak. It was a very satisfying stay.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. I was very happy to be upgraded to an available Room. Although the weather wasn’t great, I think the view from the balcony is the best at this Hotel. The staff were cheerful, and I had a wonderful stay. I would like to stay again next time.

The cleanliness and well-equipped Facility you’d expect from a large Hotel really stood out. The Hotel’s large public bath was excellent, but the Ocean Spa fuua was even better—its seamless connection with the sea and the open, partition-free standing bath were outstanding. At night, we were lucky to be able to watch Yugawara’s fireworks from our Room. As for dining, if I had one wish, it would be having two venues instead of just one—then even a Multiple Night Stay might feel less repetitive.

When I went to the bath on the 12th floor, I didn’t realize the bath towels were under the TV. Someone I shared the elevator with had brought one, so I asked and found out that’s where they were. The towel location might be a little hard to notice.

I had wanted to stay here for a long time. The Room was spacious and very clean, with a great view. The meals were delicious, and since the restaurant is large, even at the buffet there was no congestion when serving food, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The Onsen was wonderful, the Shuttle Service was courteous, and all the staff were kind with excellent hospitality. It’s also great value for money, so we were very satisfied. We would like to make this our regular Accommodation in Atami. Thank you very much.

This is our annual summer family trip with three generations. We book two Rooms, and we truly appreciate that you arrange them next to each other. The baths are amazing—wonderful Onsen! The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, and all the staff are so kind and helpful. It’s an outstanding Hotel. My mother was left partially paralyzed after a cerebral hemorrhage and has limited mobility, so we wondered if this might be our last trip together—but this year again, our whole family was able to come. We hope my mother and father stay healthy so we can all return next year as well. This is the best Hotel for creating wonderful memories on our yearly family trips. Please take care of yourselves, and keep up the great work. I’ll be visiting with friends in October too, and I’m looking forward to coming back again. I have experienced almost all luxury vacations in Japan, but the support here is undoubtedly the best in the country. We ended up staying on a day when a severe cold wave hit, and upon mentioning the cold, they immediately went out to purchase and set up a heater for us. Despite being a large facility, it was impeccably clean with no complaints about cleanliness. Even though it was a vacation stay, their thorough support allowed us to feel at ease during our accommodation. In contrast to another nearby new facility called N ○○tami where even the main power for the sauna wasn’t turned on and inquiries were poorly handled—making it impossible to use the sauna—this place responded promptly to everything we needed. The staff quality here is comparable to that of butlers at The Ritz Hotel. It’s clear that the owner is very competent. The location is also wonderful and provided an excellent change of pace. Thank you so much! On particularly cold days, having heaters in each room would be even better; however, during daytime hours, sunlight streamed in beautifully and kept us warm enough.

The view from the Room was wonderful. We had a clear view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. The view from the main building’s Onsen was also great. All the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and provided pleasant service. We would love to stay again.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we had a very comfortable time. Thank you for your courteous and kind service.

This was my second stay, and once again I was very satisfied with both the generous portions and the delicious food. There were so many kinds of salad at dinner, both in variety and quantity—even the owner said he wasn’t sure how many there were. The salad alone can fill you up, but the bread was also excellent, and the hamburger steak was wonderfully meaty—very satisfying. The Onsen is a private bath. It’s close to the source spring, with a strong sulfur smell, and iron tends to oxidize. The temperature is just right, so you can soak slowly and relax. That said, the Facility is a bit old (the owner even joked it’s like a haunted house...), so it depends on whether it feels worth it for the price. For the Eco Plan, be sure to prepare properly yourself—bring changes of clothes, trash bags, etc. Once you get used to it, you won’t mind how old things are; it actually feels quite comfortable. We’ll be back again. Thank you very much.
