A 10-minute walk to famous tourist spots such as the old streets of Hida Takayama. The surrounding area retains much of its historical charm, offering a very quiet and peaceful environment. In front of us lies a walking path that circles the temples, where many visitors, including international tourists, enjoy strolling. Our facility began 200 years ago as a bathhouse for a temple and was established at its current location 90 years ago. In 2022, we expanded our spacious outdoor area, adding a large open-air pool with Epsom salt, a cold water bath with drinkable water from Hida Takayama, and a wood-fired sauna. Wood-fired saunas are rare even across The whole country, attracting many visitors from afar. Guests can also enjoy self-service wood stoking and "löyly" (steam infusion).
