The newly built villa within the grounds of Sumiya Rakusuitei has been designed to enhance the enjoyment of gazing at the river. The architecture, compact yet infused with various essences, is neither purely Japanese nor Western in style, exuding a mysterious sense of comfort. The Cask began with an architect's dream of creating a treehouse in a large chestnut tree. In this playful space, enjoy a small adventure that only adults can experience.
