Our accommodation, formerly known as Fukujyuin, has welcomed visitors to Togakushi in Nagano Prefecture as a traditional lodging for shrine pilgrims. The historic main building and the garden that reflects the changing seasons continue to offer a serene space passed down through generations. While we may not have the vastness or modernity of large hotels or resort facilities, we are dedicated to preserving this historic building within the sacred grounds of Togakushi and providing our guests with a relaxing space and time.

Yakouin is a historic Property, originally built as the Amida Hall during the establishment of Zenkoji Temple. Experience the extraordinary with morning rituals unique to the Property, vegetarian cuisine, and sutra copying activities.

Zenkouji, boasting a history of approximately 1400 years, enshrines Japan's oldest Buddha statue. Within its precincts lies a traditional property renowned for its vegetarian cuisine. Guests can experience sutra copying and participate in the daily "Oasaji" ceremony held at Zenkouji's main hall. Enjoy a serene time through unique experiences at this traditional property.

About a 5-minute drive from Nagano Station and about a 7-minute drive to Zenkoji Temple, this Hotel offers convenient access by car for both business and sightseeing. Room types include Single Rooms for solo guests, as well as Double Rooms and Twin Rooms for two guests. We also offer Japanese-Western style Rooms combining a tatami area and a Western-style area, suitable for families of 3 to 4 guests. Parking is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis (30 spaces). When the parking lot is full, we can direct you to nearby paid coin-operated parking (800 yen per day).
