Nestled in a quiet villa area in Azumino–Hotaka at the foothills of the Northern Alps, this is a private Onsen Accommodation limited to one group per day, rented as an entire house. In the hinoki bath made from Kiso cypress, you can enjoy free-flowing natural hot spring water drawn from the mountains. The approx. 450 m² garden features local plants that bud and change with the seasons, and you can feel these transitions from the living room. At night, a star-filled sky spreads across the clear air, bringing a stillness far from everyday life. In the morning, we offer a light breakfast featuring freshly grated wasabi. Although winters are severe in this area, a pellet stove like a fireplace is installed for comfortable stays even in autumn and winter. Daio Wasabi Farm and the Azumino Chihiro Art Museum are about 15 minutes away by car. The nearest ski resort is Jiigatake Ski Resort—ideal for beginners and families—about 30 minutes away by car. Hakuba, Kurobe, Kamikochi, and Matsumoto are all within about an hour’s drive. Grocery shopping is within a 10-minute drive, and cars can be parked right next to the cottage garden, making luggage transport easy.For BBQs, renting a BBQ set is recommended. With a full set of BBQ equipment available for rent, all you need to bring are ingredients, drinks, and seasonings to enjoy a hassle-free BBQ. For the winter wood stove experience, we ensure even first-timers can enjoy it safely by setting it up so that it lights easily with just one match.As for sightseeing in the surrounding area, we recommend visiting Kamikochi, Kurobe Dam, the Hakuba area, Matsumoto Castle, and hiking in the Northern Alps.
