I was truly moved by your warm hospitality. This is an inn I would love to visit again. Although it’s a bit far from central Tokyo and I had long admired it while hesitating, I’m so glad I finally decided to stay for two nights this time. Not only were the location surrounded by deep mountain nature and the atmosphere of the property wonderful, but the view from the famous standing bath was absolutely breathtaking. The cuisine and facilities exceeded my expectations, but what stayed with me most was the thoughtful care shown by all of your staff. When my mother became carsick on the way, you promptly guided her to our room and even handled check-in there; and when we brought a portrait of my late father to dinner, you kindly prepared a glass and even an appetizer for him as well—this touched me deeply. Thank you for such exceptional hospitality that truly warmed my heart. I would love to return again in a different season.

This was my second stay, and once again I was reminded what a truly wonderful property this is. All the staff are always smiling, quick to help, and courteous, making my stay comfortable again this time. The Onsen was exceptional—not only the quality of the water, but also the spotless interior and beautiful views made it a perfect time to unwind. And as a Dormy Inn fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the post-bath ice pops and probiotic drink at the relaxation area, as well as the famous “Yonaki Soba,” all just as delicious as ever. Whenever I stay in Matsumoto, I will definitely choose this place again!

Both the entrance and our Room were spotless, the meals (and sweets) were delicious, the Onsen was wonderfully relaxing, and all of the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—we were truly impressed. At the dining venue, there was plenty of space between each group, so our child was able to focus quietly on eating. Also, we really appreciated that you provided activities inside the Hotel such as a puzzle-solving game (the adults got seriously into it too!) and a cardboard maze. When we checked our answers for the puzzle game, the front desk staff assisted us so kindly and thoroughly, which made our child very happy. I don’t usually post a Review, but I was so moved that I wanted to share this one. We travel to Matsumoto every summer, so we’d love to stay with you again next year. Thank you very much.

Arrived tired... The natural Onsen bath was wonderful! The staff's courteous service was very helpful. I also enjoyed the soba noodles for breakfast.

We stayed here as a couple on a trip to Matsumoto. We made a Reservation at this Hotel because we were looking for a guest Room near Matsumoto Castle with an open-air bath and private dining. It was close to the castle, and we arrived without getting lost. Both the building and the Room were very well cleaned and felt spotless. The view from the Room was also great. We enjoyed our meal in a private room, and everything was delicious. We chose the dining Plan for guests aged 50 and over, and the portion size was just right. Since there aren’t many shops nearby, we bought drinks from the vending machine inside, but there was only one machine, so the selection was limited. Overall: 5 stars. I usually buy towels with the Hotel name when I stay somewhere, but I forgot this time—so when we visit Matsumoto again, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

We stayed over a three-day weekend and were very satisfied with both the Facility and the service. It turned into a last-minute trip and we made our Reservation on the day of our stay, but this Ryokan was more comfortable than the Accommodation Fee would suggest. Meals: Breakfast featured a wide variety of dishes made with local ingredients. Everything was delicious. Room: The Room was clean and spacious enough for two people. Being able to replace the hand towels was a small touch, but I really appreciated it. Baths: We bathed twice, morning and evening. We were grateful that we could Reserve a private bath by phone before check-in. Every bath was very clean; none were particularly large, but they felt calm and relaxing. Because the shower water was also Onsen water, the water pressure was weak, but it didn’t bother me much. Inside the Accommodation: Every staff member greeted us with a smile whenever we passed by. We also enjoyed how much there was to see—there’s a pond inside, as well as a beautifully maintained courtyard with an ashiyu (footbath). Since I don’t often buy souvenirs at a Ryokan, I’m glad I could purchase cider made at the on-site winery.

We stayed as a family of four, and the kids were thrilled—they’re already saying they want to come again in winter. The meals were delicious and more than we could finish, so we almost felt bad leaving any. Drinks were all-you-can-drink, and the ice-cold draft beer was fantastic. The kids also enjoyed making their own original drinks. We also loved being able to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen anytime, and went in many times. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t see the stars, but next time we’d like to come back specifically to enjoy the starry sky.
