Opened on September 2, 2007. Named “Masuichi Kyakuden” from the owner’s wish: “We would have loved to welcome you into our own home…”. Designed by architect John Morford—who also designed “Kurabu” and the main store of Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery—this Accommodation is his vision of where he would want to stay when visiting Obuse. Centered around three earthen storehouses relocated from a long-established sugar wholesaler in Nagano, it comprises seven wooden buildings, with interiors fully furnished in Western style.

Our Accommodation is a guesthouse with private Rooms only, welcoming solo travelers on their first trip, couples, and small groups.It is recommended for guests who want to chat and exchange travel tips with the host and other guests in the evening, but still sleep comfortably in a private Room.
