Himekidaira is a tranquil pension village located 5 km northwest of Shirakabako, spread across a sloping area. The lower part features an old villa area and a lake, while the upper part connects to hiking trails leading to Kurumayama and Kirigamine. Vacation Inn is situated deep within the pension village, on a hill surrounded by trees, offering a very quiet environment. At an altitude of 1,500 meters, it is comfortable even in summer. Guests can enjoy a relaxing stay with twin rooms featuring semi-double beds, a fully private artificial radium Onsen bath, and a lounge with a burning fireplace. It is an ideal base for driving or trekking around the Venus Line, a treasure trove of alpine plants. This forest-surrounded pension is part of the world-renowned mountain resort "NAGANO." It is approximately 200 km from both Tokyo and Nagoya via the expressway. From Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line), it is a 2 km drive on paved roads within the villa area, and 5 km from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway/Pilatus Tateshina Snow Resort. The road from Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line) to the pension is fully paved, so we recommend arriving by car. We regret to inform you that Shuttle Service is not available. (Please ensure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires or tire chains during the period from December to March.) Situated on the slopes of Kita-Yatsugatake in the Tateshina Highlands, at an altitude of 1700m within the Pilatus Hill villa area, the maximum temperature rarely exceeds 20°C even in midsummer, with morning and evening temperatures ranging from 8°C to 12°C.As a general rule, we accommodate adults only, with a maximum capacity of 8 guests, which is one-third of our full capacity. We strive to create a space where you can enjoy leisurely conversations with your loved ones.
