Just as everyone wrote in their Reviews, everything—from the surroundings and the building to the furniture and amenities—was high quality and comfortable, and we were able to fully enjoy a Scandinavian-style getaway. Coffee on the terrace while listening to the birds singing was amazing! The only disappointment was that there were no wine glasses!! They’re an essential item for our meals, so we would really appreciate it if you could provide them. Thank you in advance.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday trip. They delivered an externally ordered cake from their partner Kazeka to our Room exactly as requested, and everything—the Room, the open-air bath, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—was truly wonderful. It was a very satisfying stay, and we would love to visit again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night with my daughter. Unfortunately, the weather was not great the next day, so things didn’t go exactly as planned, but we were able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. The meals were also very delicious. It would have been even better if there had been handrails in the bathroom and spa baths.

Thanks to booking through IKYU, we received several perks, which we truly appreciated. The pool is all-weather, so we could play safely without worrying about sunburn or rain. While the Facility shows some age, it is a wonderful piece of architecture and has been carefully maintained, allowing us to stay comfortably. Through the activities, we were able to see our children full of energy—an ideal setting for a family trip.

We visited during the July long weekend with our two children, aged 9 and 5. As soon as we entered the Room, we were amazed by the view from the living room. That alone made the trip worthwhile. Everything in the Facility felt spotless, the view from the bath was wonderful, and there was also a washer-dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. We could truly live here. The activities were also incredibly well organized, and our children had an amazing experience. We harvested vegetables together, made pasta using what we picked, and melted beeswax to make herbal lip balm. Our younger child especially loved getting to actually pound the meat, coat it in flour, dip it in egg, and cover it with breadcrumbs. There’s no way I could give anything other than a perfect 5. We would love to visit again.

This was our second stay with our rescued dog. This time, there was a pool set up in the dog park, and our dog tried swimming for the first time. Surprisingly, they swam well and looked like they were having a great time. Playing in the spacious dog park always makes them look so happy, and we’re really glad we came.\nWe chose the reasonably priced Standard Cottage this time, so we expected some age, but there was a very strong dusty (moldy?) smell, which was a bit of a downside. The place was cleaned properly, but there’s only so much you can do about an older building.\nStill, our dog looked so happy that we’ll probably stay again!

For vacations of two days or more, I choose a vacation rental rather than a Hotel or an Onsen Ryokan. From my experience with several rentals, prices and the quality of Facility management vary widely depending on the operator. This property is well maintained with no musty smell inside, towels can be replaced if you go to the management office yourself, the price is reasonable, and the area is quiet—I'd happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. When we contacted you to say we would be about an hour late due to road conditions, you responded kindly and pleasantly. The meals were delicious as well—the Japanese-Chinese cuisine was great. Perhaps because the Room and the toilet were close, we noticed the sound of flushing water and the air conditioner airflow at night. The bath was also excellent.

We stayed here with our baby (6 months old). Tucked away in a quiet forest, the Accommodation was filled with the warmth of wood from the moment we stepped inside, and everything was spotless, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The tatami-style Japanese room accessible by ladder was also great, and there was enough space to sleep with our child even on the large bed, which really helped. In addition, there were plenty of towels and both a washer and dryer, making it very convenient for families with children. It’s an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

We enjoyed a one-night, two-day stay with sauna, BBQ, and a campfire. Although we were worried that the BBQ and sauna might be cold due to the season, the campfire made it comfortable and enjoyable! The Facility inside was well-equipped, making us wonder if it was really okay to use it at this price. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity!

I chose this place as I needed to leave early the next morning. In one word: impeccable. From the prior communication to the meals, cleanliness, and every service provided, everything was handled with meticulous care. I had an extremely comfortable stay.

We stayed for one night starting August 28. After finishing the Hakushu Distillery tour, we checked in around 4:00 PM and enjoyed the garden BBQ from 6:00 PM. Everything was delicious—beef, pork, and seafood, as well as the yakisoba served at the end, salt rice balls, and even dessert—and we were completely satisfied both physically and mentally. The bath is available 24 hours a day, and the far-infrared effect of the stone tub warmed us through to our core. From our Room, we had a stunning view of Mt. Fuji—an unbeatable location. The owner was also very friendly; we enjoyed chatting with them and had a truly relaxing time. This is a pension we would definitely like to stay at again.

This accommodation, though 40 years old, is impeccably clean and well-maintained, including the room's toilet and bath, making it a very comfortable stay. Both breakfast and dinner are lovingly handmade by the mother and daughter duo, which was evident in the delicious meals. They were attentive to refills and kindly offered items like roast beef during dinner or coffee and bread at breakfast. The atmosphere was warm and homely, with a delightful touch of watching photos of birds and landscapes taken by the daughter on TV during meals. The vibrant beauty of maple trees, ginkgo trees, and other colorful broadleaf trees visible from the room windows or around the accommodation made for breathtaking views. Staying here during such a perfect season allowed for an elegant experience. Highly recommended accommodation! Note: As mentioned in their description section, most amenities need to be brought along by guests.

Last time, when I called to make last-minute changes, the staff were extremely polite and kind. They responded quickly as well, which was very helpful. This is my second stay, and the Room is always very clean, with everything I need provided—clear and very convenient. The surrounding nature is wonderful too, and I always have a pleasant stay here. I think it’s especially great for longer stays.

The facility was clean, and the Onsen was excellent. The Onsen includes an open-air bath and a sauna. When my husband requested to go for an early morning run before the official opening hours, the staff kindly accommodated his request. Breakfast was buffet-style with a satisfying variety of dishes. The warm simmered dishes and dried daikon radish were delicious, and there were plenty of drink options as well. The milk, likely from the local Yatsugatake area, was rich and flavorful. The autumn leaves around the Hotel were stunningly beautiful. I would love to stay here again!

I stayed with my beloved dog and 2-year-old child. The private bath was spacious and very relaxing, and the restaurant for dinner was wonderful and memorable. Both the accommodation and the restaurant were pet-friendly, making our stay extremely comfortable. We would love to visit again as a family. The Halloween decorations matched the atmosphere perfectly and were lovely.
