You can spend the entire day enjoying Maruki Winery, one of Japan’s oldest wineries, while taking in a beautiful Japanese garden. For dinner, we had a tea kaiseki meal—one unforgettable moment after another. The Room also features a private Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water rich in sulfur minerals. I learned what true adult relaxation feels like: unhurried, luxurious, and blissful. This is truly the best Accommodation. Next time, I’ll book a Multiple Night Stay.

We had an incredibly fulfilling stay. From the interior and exterior design to the furniture, decor, fixtures, amenities, lawn, and open grounds, this was a wonderfully comfortable Facility where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The interior is unified in a calm design, with very high ceilings that create an airy sense of openness, allowing us to fully enjoy a special time away from everyday life. The vanity area and bathroom were especially spacious and impressive—made with high-quality materials and kept impeccably clean down to every corner. The amenities also felt thoughtfully chosen; for example, Aesop hand soap was provided at the sink. All essential cookware and appliances were available, so we could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. We even enjoyed handheld fireworks in the garden. The views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps were also stunning—scenery you could gaze at for hours without noticing time pass. Most memorable of all were the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge bath. The wood-fired sauna was exceptional—enjoying it while feeling the flicker of flames, hearing the crackle of burning logs, and breathing in the scent of wood was truly special. Unlike an electric heater, it had a gentle heat that warmed us slowly from deep within and helped us relax completely. A large amount of sauna stones were thoroughly heated, so we could also enjoy pleasant steam from löyly. It’s an ideal setup that I would highly recommend even to dedicated sauna lovers. They added ice to the cold plunge bath multiple times for us, so we could cool down properly. Paired with the wood-fired sauna, it was perfect—we fully enjoyed every session. In the evening we enjoyed a BBQ, and we really appreciated that the owner prepared everything—from lighting the fire to setting everything up. On top of that, we received a generous gift of fresh vegetables grown by his wife. They were all rare varieties you don’t often see day-to-day, and you could feel careful attention not only in each vegetable but also in their labels and packaging. We tried them right away at our BBQ—especially the eggplant, which was unbelievably tender and delicious. Beyond how wonderful both the Facility itself and its location are, we were truly moved by the owners’ thoughtful hospitality as well. In this extraordinary setting—with beautiful views, a wood-fired sauna experience like no other،and BBQ—we spent a luxurious yet deeply comfortable time here. We would love to stay again. The free-flowing, continuously fed Onsen was wonderfully abundant, and each private bath had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The cuisine was perfect for wine lovers, with rare wines to match. The interior design—and the lamps placed throughout—were all beautifully chosen. Right in front of the Accommodation, there is a row of cherry trees along the riverbank; I can only imagine how stunning the view must be during cherry blossom season. I won’t wait until then—I will definitely return again soon. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stay here mainly for Arashi no Yu, and every time it’s one moving experience after another—thank you again for this visit. The table tennis & darts Room was a hidden gem, and the kids were thrilled! If I had one request, it would be to have some board games the kids can enjoy (even something like UNO) in the table tennis Room or at the front desk—then children wouldn’t get bored even during a Multiple Night Stay. In any case, thank you as always for another wonderful experience.

All staff members were courteous and attentive. The meals were thoughtfully prepared with enjoyable touches, and we could even have dessert in the lounge after dinner, which was very refreshing. The bath was a spacious unit bath, and since it can be filled with Onsen water, we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in our Room. We would like to stay again.

All the staff were incredibly kind! The Room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and the dinner menu changed on the second night (even for kids!), and the main meat dish was especially delicious. Since we travel with children, we’ve often stayed at Accommodations with buffet-style dinners lately, but at this Accommodation our child enjoyed the food so much that they ate a lot, which was great. There are lovely vineyards and a houtou restaurant nearby, so we could enjoy the area as well. We also used the Hotel pool, and even without a car our family had plenty to do. It was also nice that towels were always available in the large public bath. There’s a convenience store just a short walk from the Hotel, which is very handy. A wonderful Hotel that’s very welcoming for families with children!

The Room allowed smoking, but it was very clean and had no smell at all. There was no noise from outside; the only sound I could hear was the refrigerator motor near the pillow, so I was able to spend my time quietly. If you go by car, the parking lot is spacious, and it is conveniently located right next to a main road. It was excellent.

This is a wonderful Ryokan that moves me every time I visit. The Room, baths, cuisine, the staff’s smiles, and the overall atmosphere throughout the property are all exceptional, and time seems to slow down. Both the fresh enthusiasm of the younger staff and the understated attentiveness of the experienced staff naturally bring a smile. The welcome service includes soft drinks as well as wine—and that wine is surprisingly delicious. Breakfast also comes with a choice of drinks; the 100% peach juice is pure peach—peach! peach! peach!—and absolutely worth trying at least once. And the cuisine is outstanding. Though the chef is young, everything—from seasonal menus and presentation to masterful use of dashi—is superb. The creativity is remarkable, and the expressive artistry of each dish (including the tableware) is truly next level. The view from the open-air bath in our Room—sunlit green trees against a blue sky—was beautiful, and soaking in an open-air bath during a sudden downpour was an experience with its own special charm. This is a lovely kappo-style Ryokan that soothes me every time I stay. Having visited in spring and summer, I would love to return in autumn next time.

I always look forward to the seasonal parfaits, and whenever a new one comes out, I can’t help but come back. This time it was the grape parfait and the Shine Muscat parfait. I went for a drive with a friend from Yamanashi, then met up with my husband at the Hotel, and I checked in from the evening. I relaxed in the Onsen and slept soundly. For breakfast, I had my usual favorite cheese omelet. It was truly delicious—I keep wondering how they make an omelet that tastes this good. And then came the grape parfait. I shared it with my husband’s Shine Muscat parfait and enjoyed both. They were beautifully presented—like works of art—and absolutely delicious. I had them last year too and never forgot them, so I was happy to have them again this year. The staff’s smiles always make me feel at ease as well. I can’t wait to see what the next parfait will be!

Once again, I stayed at Dormy Inn. A Hotel with reliable Onsen and meals. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Both the Room and the staff member who assisted us were wonderful, and we were able to truly relax. As I casually looked out from the Japanese-style Room at the beautiful garden, a large grey heron was resting its wings by the waterfall. It was my first time observing one from so close, and I was thrilled. The thoughtfully prepared cuisine is always delicious, and this time again every dish was deeply impressive. Staying in a detached guesthouse felt perfect just being there, but I went out to make sure not to miss the live music in the lobby—and it turned into another wonderfully romantic moment. As often as time and budget allow, I would love to return again and again to unwind. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The large public bath opened at 5:00 a.m., so I was able to enjoy it comfortably on my own. The entire property was very clean. Having to tap the room key to access each floor made me feel safe.

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

The continuously flowing Onsen bath was wonderful, and even the diluted bath had surprisingly lively bubbles—I could really feel the high quality of the spring water. It was a bit disappointing that the women’s bathing hours were somewhat short, but I made the most of the time and enjoyed the Onsen to the fullest. Breakfast is served with dishes portioned into small bowls, making it easy to choose what you like and go back for seconds. There’s a good variety, and even as guests keep coming in one after another, the staff promptly refills everything. It isn’t a flashy Hotel, but the service is polite and pleasant, and everything feels clean. Above all, this is an Accommodation I’d recommend to anyone staying primarily for the Onsen. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We were completely satisfied with everything! We stayed as three generations of our family. We were told it was a connected two-room Room, but it was actually three rooms. The entryway to the Room was very spacious, and everything was kept extremely clean and tidy. I had seen in a Review that the building is old, but for someone from the Showa era like me, it really made me feel like I had come to an Onsen town, which I loved. Every dish was carefully prepared, and we enjoyed our meal while looking through the menu item by item. The flavors were refined and wonderful. It was my first time trying banana tempura! The breakfast buffet also had more than enough variety! All of the staff were cheerful and excellent in their service. It became a truly memorable stay. We would love to stay again.

Thank you very much for your kind hospitality. I would love to visit again. Access was easy if you have a car, and this Hotel offered plenty of enjoyment with the baths and hot stone sauna. The Japanese-style room felt a bit small for triple occupancy, but it would be perfectly fine for two, and offers great value for money!

This year, due to severe weather, the Chuo Main Line has had several planned service suspensions, and I’ve stayed here a few times so I could get to work the next day. Each time, the front desk staff have been calm and courteous, and there are no guests talking loudly in the hallways, so it’s very comfortable. There’s a FamilyMart right in front of the hotel, so even without meals included you won’t have any trouble finding food or drinks.

Great value for money, and everything is kept very clean. The bed is clean as well, with no odors. There were no noticeable smells in the unit bath or towels either. The bathtub and toilet aren’t especially spacious, so I’d rate it 4 stars, but there were absolutely no issues. If I had to mention one thing, I would have liked a 32-inch TV in the Room. The front desk staff are very kind. They also offer a welcome drink, which is available until midnight—excellent. I stayed here for the Fuefuki City fireworks festival; it’s about a 20-minute walk, so I plan to stay again next year.

It’s a Business Hotel rather than an Onsen Ryokan, but the large communal Onsen bath has excellent water quality and really helped melt away my fatigue. In the evening, there was a free light-meal service that was far more generous than expected. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and the taste was very satisfying. Some parts of the in-house Facility feel a bit dated, but it more than makes up for it with comfort and overall satisfaction. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great value while still enjoying an Onsen.

Due to my mistake when making the Reservation, I ended up with a smoking Room, but it was thoroughly deodorized and I didn’t notice any odor at all. During my stay, I could use the complimentary rental bicycles, which allowed me to enjoy sightseeing at a relaxed pace. The staff who assisted me were friendly and approachable, and this Accommodation is one I’d like to stay at again. Thank you very much.
