Six of us from work stayed here. It was fantastic—we all had a great time together with the sauna, cooking dinner, and roasting coffee. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we couldn’t get a clear view of Mt. Fuji, but the location is quiet and wonderful. We’d love to come again. I’m giving it one point less because we had to wait at check-in, but the staff explained everything well and we had no problems during our stay.

This was our second stay as a couple with our dog. Because it is a private rental house with exterior walls, we didn’t have to worry about the surroundings and were able to relax and enjoy a luxurious time in the Room. For meals, the ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator and we cooked for ourselves, but the recipes made it easy to prepare everything smoothly. We also appreciated that the menu was different on the second night, so we never got bored. The staff were very polite and kind. Even if we had questions, we could reach them by phone, which made us feel at ease throughout our stay. It was also great fun chatting during check-in and check-out. Our dog looked happy from start to finish. It was an Accommodation that makes us want to come back again for sure.

A lot has happened recently, and my husband took the lead and worked hard through it all. Now that things have finally settled down, we chose to stay here so he—and our dogs—could relax and enjoy some carefree time together. My husband said he was happy to experience something out of the ordinary again after a long time! The food was delicious, and we were truly satisfied with everything, including the Hotel staff’s hospitality and their thoughtful care for our dogs. Thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful time!

All staff greeted us cheerfully, the guidance was courteous, and they even helped direct cars in the parking lot. The Accommodation was spotless and offered outstanding hospitality. Above all, the open-air bath was spacious, clean, and wonderful—it really helped us unwind. It was a shame we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to bad weather, but we’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much!!

We stayed at Hakone Regina last year and loved it, so we chose this property. We had made a Reservation in February for our dog’s birthday, but heavy snow prevented us from coming, so this visit was our second attempt. It was a trip with my daughter, grandchild, and our dog. In Hakone we had in-room dining, but here meals are served in the restaurant. During dinner, we were able to have our dog sit in one of the carts provided by Regina, and she behaved wonderfully. She normally doesn’t ride in a cart, but she ended up loving it! The food was delicious, and since my daughter’s and grandchild’s birthdays were coming up, we ordered a tart cake. We were able to celebrate their birthdays as well, which became a truly wonderful memory. We also received photos. We could relax comfortably in the Room, and since there is an Onsen bath in the Room as well, we enjoyed that at a leisurely pace. The dog run also felt almost private—maybe there weren’t many other dogs—so we had a great time. The wood chips are gentle on their paws. On the way home, there was a pool set up so we let our dog swim, and she was thrilled! The life jackets and blower were very helpful. She dried quickly with minimal stress. Compared with Hakone last year, some of the staff service felt a bit cold this time. Maybe it was because there were more guests or because dining is in the restaurant rather than in-room? It would have been nicer if they had spoken to the dogs a little more. Also at Hakone before, the mattress was very comfortable and helped relieve fatigue; later I contacted them and bought the same brand mattress (Serta). This time it seemed like a different mattress brand/model than before, which was slightly disappointing. Next time I’d like to stay at another Regina property again. Thank you for all your help!

I was truly impressed by a stay that exceeded all expectations in comfort! After feeling refreshed in the barrel sauna, I cooled down in the open-air jacuzzi. At night, I enjoyed the warm Onsen and then relaxed again in the jacuzzi. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—one amazing moment after another!! All of the staff were kind and attentive while keeping a comfortable distance, and they took great care of us. We could also enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from reception, making it a soothing getaway surrounded by nature. The next day we visited the large public bath in the bathing facility, but unfortunately the weather was bad and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. Next time, I’m looking forward to unwinding in the sauna and enjoying some fresh-air relaxation while taking in Mt. Fuji’s magnificent view. My husband and I promised each other we’ll definitely return—and book a Multiple Night Stay. Until then, I’ll work hard (haha).

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much. The entire Facility was very clean, and not only the bedrooms but also the toilets, shower rooms, and even the large public bath were kept spotless, so we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were also delicious, and the experience itself—starting a fire ourselves and grilling and cooking—was truly fun and became a memorable time for our family. Above all, we were most impressed by the hospitality of the staff. We have stayed at many Hotels and Accommodations, but the team here was without a doubt among the very best. We visited with two small children and were worried about whether we could manage starting a fire and doing BBQ properly, but the staff kindly and carefully taught us what to do and naturally supported us at just the right moments. We really appreciated how they watched over us with perfect distance—never intrusive. It wasn’t luxurious like a high-end Hotel; instead, it offered warm human connection and time for our family to work together, giving us an incredible sense of happiness unlike anything we’ve experienced before. There aren’t many Accommodations that make you think “I want to come back,” but this is a place we genuinely feel like visiting even every month. It was an outstanding experience that left our whole family completely satisfied. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here for a trip to Yamanashi. We stayed two nights, and it was disappointing not to see Mt. Fuji from the first day, but on the last day we could see Mt. Fuji perfectly from the window! There are houses nearby, but it was my first time seeing Mt. Fuji so beautifully and I was truly moved. I think this is a log cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin has a cypress barrel bath, which feels wonderfully luxurious. This time we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji while bathing, but on a clear day it seems like it would be an amazing scenic bath! The public bathhouse directly across the street was also great.

First time staying here. The exterior and interior were both very beautiful, and the Room was spotless and felt very clean. The baths were spacious, both the indoor bath and the semi-open-air bath. The sauna was at just the right temperature, and the cold plunge made with Mt. Fuji water was freezing cold. My companions were very satisfied and said they want to stay here again. As the organizer, I really looked good.

The weather was great, and we had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. It was disappointing that Fujiyama Onsen was closed.

It was a well-deserved getaway for the two of us. Rain was in the forecast, but the Room was far better than we imagined and it became an unforgettable memory! The kitchenware was fully stocked, and both the bathroom and toilet were clean and convenient.

I stayed here the night before climbing Mt. Fuji! The front desk staff, the Facility, and the spaciousness of the room were all flawless. I didn’t use the dining options, but no complaints there either! I’d love to stay again if I have the chance!

It was my first visit in a while, and the Onsen was wonderful as always. There were so many options—hot stone spa, sauna, indoor baths, and open-air baths—and I really enjoyed them. Dinner’s pork shabu-shabu was delicious, and the wine was reasonably priced with great value for money. For breakfast, I could relax in my Room and enjoy my favorites: boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, bread, and coffee. I’d love to come again.

We stayed with our children, and it was a Hotel they could really enjoy! The building was clean, and the housekeeping was thorough, so we had a very comfortable stay. Our 5th-grade daughter loved the manga corner and would read manga whenever she had time. Our 1st-grade son really liked the kids’ park and played there nonstop—both kids were very satisfied! Dinner was especially good for seafood. Some of the meat dishes may be a matter of personal taste, but overall we enjoyed it. At breakfast, the burgers were delicious, and our children were happy too. I think it’s a Hotel that families can enjoy casually. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance!

I love British antique furniture, so this is a pension I’d been curious about for a long time. The three of us stayed as a family. The furniture, tableware, and paintings—said to have been collected by the previous owner—were all just as I expected: tasteful and wonderful. Definitely worth seeing. I gave it 4 stars because the Facility is a bit old and the soundproofing isn’t great, but everything is very clean, the owner couple are lovely, breakfast was truly delicious, and both the bedding and bath were comfortable. The parking lot is spacious and it’s close to the Tomei interchange as well… for this price, it’s an excellent value. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious and very nice. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was convenient. My child vomited in the bedroom at night, and I cleaned it up myself; being able to move my child to the other bedroom while I did so was a big help. When I went to the front desk to let them know what had happened, they told me not to worry, which reassured me. What was disappointing was that we couldn’t use the large public bath, and that the pool hours were only until 5:00 PM. It would have been much easier to use if the pool were open until around 6:00–7:00 PM, but in the end it didn’t fit our schedule and we left without using it.

Stayed with a family of four and one dog. The view from the terrace was nothing but lush greenery, and we could truly enjoy a perfect resort atmosphere. Breakfast on the terrace while listening to birds and insects was incredibly soothing. The garden was spacious, and we were able to play badminton and other games with the kids. The amenities felt thoughtfully selected to include only what’s necessary, which left a great impression. There were washrooms on both the first and second floors, with two hair dryers provided. A washer-dryer and detergent were also available, so we had no inconveniences at all. If I had to mention one thing, as others have noted, the sauna temperature is low so it may feel a bit underwhelming—but considering various factors, I can understand why it’s set up that way. The disposable slippers were nice, and everything was thoroughly cleaned down to every corner—exactly what you’d expect from Rakuten STAY Villa. There is a large nature park across the street where dogs are allowed, so morning walks were very pleasant. Dog supplies are somewhat limited: a few pee pads, two types of food bowls, wet wipes, and something like plastic bags for picking up waste are provided. There wasn’t a dedicated trash bin for dog waste, so we ended up throwing used pee pads into the kitchen trash bin; it would have been nice to have one for dogs. Our whole family agreed that we’d love to stay here again next year.

You’d never guess from the outside… but once inside, I was blown away by the unique atmosphere. I was amazed at how wonderful the service for children was! For the barbecue, since it was cold, they cooked everything and brought it to our Room—honestly, it didn’t fall short of an upscale restaurant at all! Right after we arrived… I ended up getting injured… so I couldn’t fully enjoy all the benefits myself… but it’s an Accommodation that makes me want to come back once I’m healed!

We stayed during Golden Week. Even though all the other Rooms were fully booked, we could hardly hear any noise from nearby, and we were able to spend a peaceful time surrounded by the quiet forest. Perhaps it was a season with very few insects, as they didn’t bother us at all, and the Facility was clean and very comfortable. Even the shampoo in the bath had a forest-like scent, and we felt that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Thank you very much. After reading through all of the Room booklet again, I realized that shared Facilities such as the washing machine were located elsewhere, and I wasn’t sure how to clean up properly after using the campfire. It would be reassuring if you could add a short note on the red paper that was originally inside the fire pit grill saying that cleanup instructions are written in the booklet. Also, since it seemed to assume everything should be returned to its original state, I wasn’t sure how far we needed to go in putting things back—such as dishcloths or used towels. It would feel even more reassuring if there were a note like: “Please place used cloths and towels in the laundry basket.” We would love to stay again. We made wonderful memories with our family.
