Around Kawaguchiko Motor Museum × Hot spring × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

In our fourth year with our toy poodle, we stayed this time at a dog-first Hotel in Kawaguchiko. From the outside, the building does show its age and some deterioration is unavoidable, but the Room was spacious and comfortable, with underfloor heating and even a jacuzzi. The dog amenities and services were excellent. The Onsen, dog run, and restaurant are all within walking distance, so it was a bit tough in the rain. What really stood out was the food. From steaks where you can choose the cut to appetizers and desserts, everything was carefully prepared and delicious. The service and friendly check-ins were wonderful as well, and we enjoyed dining comfortably with our dog. It was my first time being able to enjoy a full-course meal calmly while traveling with a dog—and with such outstanding flavor. Just one thing: on both arrival/departure Shuttle Service rides and at checkout, some staff spoke so quietly that it was hard to hear them clearly. I hope that point will be improved. It was a very nice Hotel—thank you very much. We will visit again.

I heard this is the oldest property in Reggina. The building did feel a bit dated, but it was kept very clean. The bedding was comfortable and I slept well. The staff were especially wonderful. Reggina is consistently pet-first, which made us feel at ease. Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style and very delicious.

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for taking care of us the other day for my wife’s birthday!! In a word… it was amazing!! The Room, bath, sauna, food, hospitality, and views were all perfect. The weather was a bit iffy, but we were very satisfied to catch a brief break in the clouds and see Mt. Fuji. My wife was happy too!! We would definitely love to visit again!!

The weather was great, and we had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. It was disappointing that Fujiyama Onsen was closed.

With a bus stop for Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Fuji-Q Highland nearby, the location is unbeatable! There’s also a convenience store and Don Quijote close by, making shopping easy. The rooms, Facility areas, and Onsen are all very clean! The staff are incredibly kind. There’s nothing to complain about! If you’re staying for a Mt. Fuji climb (Yoshida Trail) or visiting Fuji-Q Highland, you should choose West Inn Fujiyoshida!

The property is clean, the food is delicious, and the staff are kind and attentive. I’m glad I stayed here.
