It was great that I could take my dog for a normal walk. The Room was also cleaned well, and my dog relaxed without any fuss. The bath had a larger tub than a Business Hotel, and the shampoo and other amenities provided had a pleasant herbal scent. Being able to eat in the Room was also nice because my dog didn’t feel lonely. Even though it has an auto-lock, I accidentally went out without my key, and they came to unlock it for me twice. They helped me without showing any annoyance, which I really appreciated. I’m glad there were places nearby for walks. The cakes from the cake shop just a 1-minute walk away were delicious too.

Our family stayed for one night. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner showed great attention to detail, and the wonderful dishes truly brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Both the fish and meat were grilled fresh on the spot, so everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast delivered to our Room also highlighted the ingredients just like dinner, and it was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Above all, every staff member was kind and welcoming, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much.

I had a Multiple Night Stay, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations. Although I couldn't see Mount Fuji from the Room I stayed in, I enjoyed a blissful time on the beautiful garden terrace where the day seemed to pass by in an instant. The medicinal stone bath was incredibly relaxing; after just one soak, my body felt thoroughly warmed to the core. By the second time, I even started looking forward to the bath preparation process itself. The Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. During my stay, housekeeping cleaned while I was out for the day during my Multiple Night Stay. Returning to such a spotless Room felt like coming back to a brand-new space—it was truly impressive! The staff were kind and greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, making my stay all the more pleasant. When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I will definitely return to Hana no Yado Yumefuji! All staff greeted us cheerfully, the guidance was courteous, and they even helped direct cars in the parking lot. The Accommodation was spotless and offered outstanding hospitality. Above all, the open-air bath was spacious, clean, and wonderful—it really helped us unwind. It was a shame we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to bad weather, but we’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much!!

I stayed here for the first time during the Obon holidays. The staff were very attentive, and the meals and lounge service were excellent. The Hotel and my Room were kept very clean, and the views were wonderful. I did not use the large public bath this time. I wish the gift shop had a wider selection.

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip. Our Room faced Mt. Fuji, and the view was amazing—we could see Mt. Fuji clearly even from the open-air bath. The meals also included Mt. Fuji-themed dishes, which we enjoyed with all five senses. There was a fireworks festival at Lake Kawaguchi, and the hotel prepared special seating on the rooftop so we could watch comfortably. We were also able to make a Reservation for a surprise birthday cake through the website, and it was served at our requested time. The service was excellent, and we would love to stay again.

Since my first stay around 2019, this has been my number one “Accommodation I want to return to.” Sometimes revisiting a wonderful Accommodation can be a little disappointing, but this time there was nothing like that at all—I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the stay once again. The Room had a natural interior with the warmth of wood and felt very comfortable, and the lobby was also a relaxing space surrounded by greenery. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like an escape from everyday life. Above all, the dining was outstanding. Not only did everything taste amazing, but the presentation and overall experience made it exciting—wondering what would come next was part of the fun. Even my partner, who doesn’t often say “delicious,” was genuinely impressed by the meat dish. Along with the meat’s natural sweetness and rich flavor, the pairing with the sauce was excellent—we were still talking on our way home about how truly delicious it was. It didn’t just meet expectations; it reminded me all over again how special this Accommodation is. We would love to visit again.

I’ve always loved Mt. Fuji and have wanted to stay at KUKUNA for a long time! Because of work, I often end up making a Reservation close to the stay date, and it’s usually fully booked (it’s so popular). This time, a spot opened up just a few days before, and we were able to stay! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji during daylight. Still, our Room with an open-air bath was clean, spacious, stylish, and incredibly relaxing—it completely melted away our everyday fatigue. The food was also excellent: creative cuisine and a buffet, along with attentive service. This trip was also to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. When we mentioned it, they kindly gifted us a wonderful dessert and photos, making it an unforgettable trip. The Onsen in the large public bath was very clean as well—we soaked at ease and felt truly refreshed. The sauna was great too. We’d love to stay again (if we can get a Reservation!).

Dining and shopping are available at nearby facilities. It was great to have free access to the bath during our stay. The view of Mt. Fuji from the Room was beautiful. Waiting for the clouds to clear was a relaxing moment. The female front desk staff were kind and courteous, and their smiles were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed it very much. We stayed here for a mother-and-daughters trip (three of us) to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. We were also impressed that three beds were set up side by side. All the in-Room meals were delicious, and we enjoyed the dishes inspired by Mt. Fuji throughout—beautiful to look at as well. We could even see Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath in our Room, and we had a truly luxurious time. They also gave my mother a gift for her 90th birthday, which deeply moved us. My mother was thrilled, and it became a wonderful, unforgettable celebration.

First time staying here. The exterior and interior were both very beautiful, and the Room was spotless and felt very clean. The baths were spacious, both the indoor bath and the semi-open-air bath. The sauna was at just the right temperature, and the cold plunge made with Mt. Fuji water was freezing cold. My companions were very satisfied and said they want to stay here again. As the organizer, I really looked good.

Free Shuttle Service is available from Kawaguchiko Station. (Pickup requires a Reservation in advance; drop-off can be reserved at check-in.) Both the exterior and interior show their age, but the Room and other areas are well cleaned and kept tidy. The sink felt a bit dated. The Room key was delightfully nostalgic (laughs). I didn’t use the outdoor bath, so I can’t comment on it, but the Room I stayed in had a shower only. It seemed newly renovated and was very clean. (The provided shampoos include both DHC and Ichikami!) Lotion, emulsion, and makeup remover were POLA amenities. I ordered both dinner and breakfast; the portions were generous and everything was delicious! I really appreciated that it wasn’t buffet-style. Hot dishes were served hot. There is a laundry area; detergent costs 100 yen, but the drum washing machines are free to use! (There are two machines.) The staff’s service was excellent! So it felt more like a Ryokan than a Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality during my stay!

The weather was great, and we had a clear view of Mt. Fuji. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied. It was disappointing that Fujiyama Onsen was closed.

My child wanted to see Mt. Fuji, so we chose this place because you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji even from the Room. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we could only see Mt. Fuji on the morning of the second day, but we were happy to catch even a glimpse—it made the trip from Osaka worthwhile, and the kids were delighted. Just like the Reviews said, it was a very clean and lovely Room, with stylish amenity sets, complimentary drinks and chiffon cake, and all of the staff were friendly and kind—our whole family loved it so much that we’d like to come back every year. We ate on the terrace while looking at Mt. Fuji, and enjoyed fireworks at night—our children made wonderful summer vacation memories.

The website highlighted the dining, and indeed both dinner and breakfast were as beautiful and delicious as expected. The service was attentive, making our stay very comfortable. The view from the terrace is well worth seeing, so don’t miss it.

We made a same-day Reservation during the busiest season on 8/15, and the staff were outstanding and treated us with great care. Our Room was on the Mt. Fuji view side, and both the room and windows were clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. When we saw Mt. Fuji in the clear morning sky, my spouse and I were truly moved! We were also satisfied with the dinner and breakfast buffet. Above all, the staff were exceptional, and we would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for a trip to Yamanashi. We stayed two nights, and it was disappointing not to see Mt. Fuji from the first day, but on the last day we could see Mt. Fuji perfectly from the window! There are houses nearby, but it was my first time seeing Mt. Fuji so beautifully and I was truly moved. I think this is a log cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin has a cypress barrel bath, which feels wonderfully luxurious. This time we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji while bathing, but on a clear day it seems like it would be an amazing scenic bath! The public bathhouse directly across the street was also great.

It was a comfortable twin Room, and we could even see Lake Kawaguchi from the Room window. The amenities included everything we needed. Dinner was a half-buffet, which made it easy to choose just the right amount. The breakfast buffet let you make your own seafood rice bowl, which made it even more satisfying. I’m only disappointed that I missed the ochazuke time from 9:00 PM (I fell asleep). When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I’d like to stay at Breeze Bay again.

I love British antique furniture, so this is a pension I’d been curious about for a long time. The three of us stayed as a family. The furniture, tableware, and paintings—said to have been collected by the previous owner—were all just as I expected: tasteful and wonderful. Definitely worth seeing. I gave it 4 stars because the Facility is a bit old and the soundproofing isn’t great, but everything is very clean, the owner couple are lovely, breakfast was truly delicious, and both the bedding and bath were comfortable. The parking lot is spacious and it’s close to the Tomei interchange as well… for this price, it’s an excellent value. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.
