The only Property at Kawahora Onsen, established under the orders of Takeda Shingen. Its two hot spring sources provide 1,250 liters per minute and are known as "Shingen's Hidden Onsen." All four baths feature natural free-flowing spring water and the Property is certified by the Association for Preserving Japan’s Onsen Heritage.

Enjoy a relaxing soak while taking in views of the courtyard.A classic Japanese-Western residence of approximately 200 m², beautifully lit by antique lamps.From a calm Japanese-style room overlooking the courtyard, walk down the corridor and you’ll find a Western-style wing with a completely different atmosphere. The kura storehouse connected to the interior features a wine bar and a theater room.In the evening, enjoy teppanyaki that pairs perfectly with wine, or gather around a bonfire in the garden. With exclusive use of the entire traditional house, spend an unforgettable stay unique to “Tsutaya,” where each space and each moment offers something special.

Unwind in our Onsen, blessed with the abundant hot-spring waters unique to Isawa. The smooth, alkaline simple spring is loved as a “beauty bath,” leaving your skin feeling moisturized even after you step out. In the open-air bath, 43°C source water flows directly into the tub, where you can enjoy a pleasantly lukewarm soak of around 30°C (closed in winter). For dining, we offer kaiseki cuisine featuring seasonal Yamanashi ingredients. About a 15-minute walk from JR Isawa-Onsen Station, we also provide a free Shuttle Service (Reservation required). Conveniently located as a base for exploring Yamanashi—fruit picking, winery tours, and more. Savor Isawa Onsen and the flavors of Koshu to your heart’s content.
