I always stay for one night to refresh after traversing the Tateyama mountain range. As always, everything is flawless. It’s one of my favorite Hotels. I’ll stay again during the autumn foliage season. Thank you as always for your courteous service.

The room felt a bit dated, but it was clean and the amenities were well stocked. Since the air conditioning and heating are centrally controlled throughout the building, it was uncomfortably warm when I entered the room, but I really appreciated that the staff promptly brought me a fan. The meals were delicious, but there was so much food that I couldn’t finish it, which I regret. I think it would be even better if there were a plan offering smaller portions of high-quality dishes. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

I stayed one night to explore Midagahara. Compared with the Murodo area, there were fewer people, and it was a very calm Hotel. I could enjoy walking around at my own pace, which was great. I also enjoyed the Hotel’s guided walks and stargazing. The meals were delicious, and the one-hour free-flow drinks option was a great value. I would love to visit again.

I stayed during the lovely summer season.\nBecause it was a weekday, they upgraded my Room, and I was able to enjoy a very spacious Japanese-style room.\nThe town itself has a calm, homey feel and hasn’t been overly commercialized for tourism; being surrounded 360 degrees by nature—green and blue—was truly refreshing for both body and mind.\nThe building has been renovated, so it didn’t feel old and everything was kept clean. However, from the entrance to the lobby there were everyday items that felt a bit cluttered, which was a slight downside for anyone looking for an escape from daily life.\nThat said, the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and warm-hearted, the meals (both dinner and breakfast) were delicious, and the staff’s thoughtful hospitality made me feel like “it’s like coming back to Grandpa’s house,” so overall I’m glad I chose this Accommodation.\nThere is an open-air bath, but it felt slightly exposed as if someone might be able to look in from outside, so in the morning I used only the indoor bath.

We stayed here on the day we visited Kurobe Dam. It was conveniently close to the Ogizawa parking lot. Check-in was a little busy, but after that it never felt crowded, and we were able to take a relaxing bath and enjoy our meal at an unhurried pace, which helped us recover from sightseeing fatigue. The staff member who assisted us during dinner appeared to be from overseas, and their explanations and service were perfectly timed and very pleasant.

The hot springs, the food, and the service were all excellent. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

The tranquil courtyard view from the room was truly soothing, and I lost track of time. Thank you for a comfortable stay—your warm smiles, from the proprietress and the experienced staff, made it all the more pleasant. If I have the chance, I’d love to visit again next spring.

We stayed here with our family during heavy rain. There were a few minor issues, but that’s part of staying at a mountain Accommodation—and the owner and his family’s hospitality more than made up for it. Dinner, featuring char (iwana) and wild mountain vegetables, was truly satisfying. Amazingly, we were the only guests that day and had the abundant free-flowing natural Onsen all to ourselves—it was wonderful.
