We have designed a flexible accommodation style so you can fully enjoy your time at Izen. This is HATAGO Izen in Echigo Yuzawa, combining the relaxation of an onsen inn with the convenience and comfort of a hotel.

A small and clean Japanese-style inn, Otowaya Ryokan, offers a relaxing stay where you can enjoy the warmth of wood and the seasonal scenery. The creative kaiseki cuisine, made with fresh seafood and mountain delicacies from Niigata, is carefully prepared by the chef, allowing you to savor the flavors of the season. Additionally, desserts and pickles made by the proprietress herself are highly praised. From the open-air bath, you may witness a dragon, considered a symbol of good fortune, providing a unique joy that cannot be experienced in the city. The Onsen is known for warming the body to its core and for its lasting warmth.
