Although it’s a secluded Accommodation deep in the mountains, it’s relatively easy to access by car and not difficult to reach. The Accommodation features classic, traditional Japanese architecture, yet it feels clean and has been thoughtfully renovated for comfort and ease of use. It was clear how much care goes into its upkeep, which I truly admire. The surrounding nature is lush, and the greenery and gentle sound of the river are very soothing. That said, the bedding mattress felt a bit firm for me personally, which was a small minus point (I didn’t wake up sore the next morning, so this is purely my personal impression). The hot spring source is around 37°C and lukewarm, but there are also heated baths, so it wasn’t an issue. If I had one wish: since I’m not fond of lukewarm water, I would have liked the heated tub to be larger. Meals were mainly simple countryside dishes, but everything was very delicious. Younger guests might find it a little light; in that case, I recommend ordering additional dishes. For us it was just the right amount—and we could get refills of rice—so we were very satisfied. Many of the staff were young, but they were always smiling and pleasant, with excellent attentiveness and consideration. This is an outstanding Accommodation that makes Japanese guests feel at ease—I hope it never changes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I stayed here on the day of the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. Even though my Shinkansen arrived late, you came to pick me up, which was a great help. Also, being able to use the large public bath 24 hours a day was perfect for soothing my tired body. Staying at NASPA New Otani made this a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

It was a very enjoyable stay for our kindergarten-aged child. Both dinner and breakfast were full of foods kids love. They had fun making their own ice cream, and they could also bring chocolate syrup and chocolate toppings from a separate area to create their own pancakes. (We wished there had been pancake syrup in the kids’ corner.) The Onsen temperature was set low for children (it might feel lukewarm for adults), and our child stayed in for about an hour. The only downside was that the photos in the information showed a drum washing machine, but there wasn’t one in reality. Other than that, they offer lots of children’s activities, so I think it’s an excellent Hotel for families with kids. We’d like to come again in winter.

A repeat stay. I visit regularly, so I have nothing to complain about.

When I thought of Naeba Prince Hotel, I associated it with Fuji Rock and Yuming’s concerts, but the Onsen water quality was exceptionally good. It has a different type of spring water than Yuzawa, and although it was far from our Room, I went in many times. It’s worth visiting just for this Onsen alone. The staff were all friendly, and even at checkout the front desk staff chatted with us about various things—it was fun and convincing! My friend and I said, “As expected from a Prince Hotel.” This is a Hotel I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for taking care of us.

Our family of four stayed in a Room with a loft. The Room was spotlessly clean, and both the beds and the futons in the loft were comfortable, so we had a very relaxing stay. The meals were generous and delicious for both breakfast and dinner, and for our family—where the kids eat a lot—we really appreciated being able to get refills of rice, miso soup, and salad. Above all, the bath was amazing! The jacuzzi tub felt wonderful and warmed us up after skiing in the cold. The staff were kind as well, and we were able to stay comfortably even with children. Thank you very much. On a personal note, when I forgot something on our way home, they handled my call kindly and quickly sent it to me cash on delivery. Thank you for your help. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

Great Room, great meals—completely satisfied! The Onsen is a bit of a distance away, but we enjoyed it and even found local mountain vegetables for sale.

We stayed here after descending from Mt. Naeba. Thank you for allowing us to park our car from the morning and for serving us dinner even though we arrived late. Although I am a local of Niigata, the dishes, such as Kanto-style kenchin soup and grilled sweetfish, were different from the traditional Uonuma style but deeply satisfying and nourishing after the hike. The warm bath was incredibly relaxing, and we rested soundly afterward. The three of us stayed in a spacious room that felt like a training camp atmosphere, making it very comfortable. Breakfast was just the right amount, and with a later check-out time, we fully enjoyed Naeba's refreshing morning air. We will definitely stay again if we climb nearby mountains in the future. We stayed in the Garden Tower at NASPA New Otani with breakfast only (no dinner). We bought food at a nearby supermarket and checked in. I had confirmed in advance that the Room had a microwave, so we were able to enjoy our meal very nicely. The refrigerator was also larger than in a typical Hotel, so there was plenty of space for drinks, and we could even store ice cream after dinner—very satisfying! Even so, I think it’s amazing how affordable it is. The staff were truly wonderful: when they had time, they worked efficiently on other tasks, and if we hesitated even a little about what to do, they would kindly speak to us. I’d love to stay again sometime.

This was my second stay. The staff at the facility were just as kind and attentive as last time, making my stay very comfortable. The food was delicious, and the Onsen was excellent.

The room was very clean! I used this accommodation for skiing. It had everything I needed. It felt very affordable, so I will stay again!

It’s conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and there is also parking available. It’s a bit away from the bar district, but not enough to be an issue. The Accommodation seems to have been renovated and felt clean. For the price, the bath was spacious and comfortable, though the water was a little too hot. We didn’t add breakfast, but there was complimentary chimaki and soup, which were very tasty. I would like to stay here again.
