Recognizing oneself as part of nature, cherishing it, and discovering the comfort it brings—this is the essence of ist. ist – Sado is surrounded by the overwhelming beauty of nature, featuring a unique landscape shaped by the coastline and mountains, towering trees, star-filled night skies, and the expansive Sea of Japan stretching out from the cape, with lush green mountains at its back. We have newly constructed three compact houses called "Hut" and a "Lounge" where guests can relax while enjoying coffee or beer. All of these were designed to allow visitors to deeply connect with the surrounding nature. By quietly listening and carefully observing, one can truly sense the presence of the many living creatures and plants around.
