We have designed a flexible accommodation style so you can fully enjoy your time at Izen. This is HATAGO Izen in Echigo Yuzawa, combining the relaxation of an onsen inn with the convenience and comfort of a hotel.

The property served as the setting for the famous work 'Snow Country'. It features an exhibition room showcasing works by Yasunari Kawabata, the creator of 'Snow Country', as well as a literary archive, a book corner with hundreds of volumes, and a movie viewing room, making it an ideal facility for fans of 'literature and onsen'.
