Inside, guests can experience the passage of time through high-resolution audio of forest and river sounds, crafted from the pristine natural environments of Japan, reflecting seasonal changes as well as the transitions of morning, afternoon, and evening. The semi-open-air bath overlooking the sea features a tub made from solid domestic Japanese cypress, filled with carbonated nano-bubble spring water. For the main bedding, we use futons made with natural horsehair, now a rarity, offering a uniquely balanced firmness for an unparalleled sleeping experience.
