We stayed in Yokohama on the first day, visited Yokosuka on the second day, and decided to stay overnight on the Miura Peninsula. The Accommodation is a renovated historic building, and it beautifully preserves the original design from that time inside—it was truly atmospheric and moving. Our child was also surprised at how spacious and clean it was. Miura may not have the flashy feel of other tourist spots, but we were impressed by how many buildings have a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm. In the evening we went to a nearby seafood restaurant, and it was outstanding. I also highly recommend taking the Nijiiro Sakana-go boat tour. The staff at the Accommodation were very kind as well. We stayed here a few years ago and returned because of the outstanding, one-of-a-kind location right above the sea. We’ve used several properties in THE HOUSE series, and this one has the most impressive sense of closeness to the ocean. It’s a short walk from the parking area, but that actually adds to the special feel. The only disappointment was that both the red and white shabu-shabu broths at dinner were spicy. At our home, shabu-shabu isn’t something we associate with spicy flavors, and we chose a meal-included Plan because shabu-shabu is usually something children can eat as well. Since neither of us adults can handle spicy food either, once we realized both broths were spicy, we rushed to a convenience store to buy a non-spicy hot pot soup base... I imagine families with children may stay here too, so it would be helpful if the meal description clearly stated when only spicy options are provided. That said, both the meat and vegetables were very delicious.

The living room is spacious, there are many guest rooms, a large TV, a pool, sauna, and barbecue facilities. It was enjoyable without needing to travel abroad. It was unfortunate that the knives were not sharp enough to prepare fish. I would love to stay here again.

A perfect stay where you can feel the sea of Miura Moriso up close. All rooms offer ocean views, showcasing stunning morning and evening scenery that provided constant relaxation throughout our stay. While there are many pet-friendly accommodations, this one stands out for its cleanliness, allowing us to enjoy a worry-free time with our beloved dog. The well-equipped kitchen and amenities make it ideal for stays with close friends as well. At around 30,000 yen per person for this quality, the satisfaction level is incredibly high, and it’s a villa we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s also a meeting room with a whiteboard, making it suitable for small corporate retreats or workshops.
